After getting married in Vegas we decided to have our happily-ever-after reception in Sunriver as a "destination" celebration with our friends and family from Northern California and Oregon. Over a number of emails and phone conversations Chef Bette helped us navigate all aspects of this special occasion, from the appetizers and meal menu to the rentals. The result was spectacular!... My wife and I joined Sophie and Katherine on the Farm Tour last week and it was time and money well spent! Sophie explained how Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) works and we saw it in action at the farms we visited. At two of the farms the owner was able to spend time with us...answering questions and sharing their practices... More

The cooking class at The Well Traveled Fork was such a delightful experience. The hospitality of the host and her warm, welcoming personality made this evening an evening of fun and learning. I loved that the group was limited to a small number of participants, Bette and her assistant, Sophie, were so accommodating, and the fact that they are very... More

we had a intimate group of couples and Chef Bette gets you involved as she shares her knowledge and techniques. The fun part is learning how to overcome your lack of cooking knowledge and find out how easy it is to prepare delicious meals! PLUS you get to eat what you learned to prepare!!

My husband and I took this tour and it was very enjoyable. Our guides, Sophie and Kim we very delightful. We lucked out and were the only people on the tour so they tailored the tour around what we wanted, as well as, some choices they picked. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon. If we were to... A lot of fun - and I don't even cook! Chef Bette is great! The vodka tasting was educational and the food we created was delicious.

Thank you so much for a wonderful and fun way to spend time with my Wife. I always learn new and easy ways to cook in every class I attend but this class was especially rewarding for me. Not only were these recipes delicious but they were far easier to cook than I had thought. My personal favorite was "Andrews"... More

I had a party at Bette's home and like some other reviews have noted her attitude was very put out and for the price paid I expected more. We had a pizza party and had hoped to learn some new things. Bette had the pizza dough already prepared and we rolled it out and added the toppings that she had... More

Our Wood Fired Cuisine Class continues to be our most popular class, as we teach guests to make authentic pizzas in a wood fired oven. Reviewers consistently comment that I am extremely professional, a warm & gracious hostess and a great teacher. Why this reviewer chose to wait almost a year to make a negative review is curious. This was a wonderful surprise and treat from my daughter-in-law whom I shared the evening and came away with renewed cooking interest in cooking from scratch.
