This Lake is the crown jewel of the Cascade Lakes! If you just come and stay in the drive in campground, you will miss 3/4 of the beauty of Hosmer Lake. During a canoe-in camping trip at Hosmer Lake with my husband, we watched a huge buck jump in the lake for a morning swim! That evening we canoed with... More

This is my favorite of the Cascade Lakes. Generally quieter than Sparks, a nice place for an afternoon paddle.

This place is amazing! There is so much wildlife around and incredible views. You can paddle around this gorgeous lake and adventure off! However, the foot travel may be limited due to bank access.

We drove in to take a look at the lake, and the lake was way, way, out there. Instead of water, we found a gorgeous sea of yellow grass, waving in the breeze. It made for some spectacular photographs, and I was glad we stopped by.

This Beautiful calm lake is worth the drive outside of downtown Bend, OR. We did a "canoe and brew" tour with Wanderlust Tours - highly recommended! there is a beautiful fault line not far from the loading dock and great to stop and picnic. I hear it is a great fly fishing spot as well

Beautiful view of the mountains. Quiet and peaceful during the week. Busier on the weekends. Easy to put in boats, paddle around and relax!

Beautiful for fishing and boating. Gas motors allowed so it is quiet. The views are awesome. We love to canoe and hike all over this area.

This jewel of the Cascade Lakes Hiway is worth the stop. Looks small from the launch but after working your way through the channels laden with fly fishermen, Hosmer opens up with 360 degree views of several notable peaks. Pack a lunch and make an extended day of it...
