This is an excellent golf facility- one of the best in Oregon. I had the honor of playing both the Fazio and the Nicklaus courses, each of which were in impeccable shape. The scenery and course design is something that can't be found at many other Oregon golf courses. It's expensive, but you will leave feeling like you have truly... More

My buddy and I recently played three golf courses in the Bend area. We played Pronghorn, Brasada and Black Butte. Pronghorn was the best by far! Beautiful course, great fairways and Michael Ottens, the outside player service supervisor made sure that we had our engraved bag tags and plenty of water. A special touch that made us feel special. Thanks... More

The golf course was in great shape and the facilities are quite nice. The problem here is the service and the even bigger problem is they don't care! At the bag drop the worker put my bag on a cart backwards. At the pro shop they provided no direction, about the range, locker room or club services. The pace of... More

I just finished playing three rounds at Pronghorn in Bend, OR. Two at the Nicklaus course and one at the Fazio course. The Fazio course is technically private and is a great track. It has one of the most fascinating holes of golf I have ever played. #8 is a par three with two lava tubes below the green. It... More

Pronghorn has two golf courses -- the Fazio, which is private to homeowners, and Nicklaus, which is open to the public. Although visually very appealing, I have played more challenging courses. The main issue with this place is the lack of service, especially at the price you pay for a round of golf. The "public" driving range is awful, felt... More

Played Nicklaus course Tuesday July 28. Pretty scenic but tough holes. Had caddie named Dustin he was very good and fun to be on course with. Not crowded at all. Pro shop very nice. Unless staying there kind of far from Bend.

The Nicklaus Signature course is challenging but fair and makes very good use of the high desert terrain with its interesting volcanic rock outcroppings. Very pleasing to the eye and a treat to play. Although not so good on the greens, the fore caddie was very helpful on the course. Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Overall a very... More

Golf courses are in my top five. Auberge lodging was 5 star. Like going to Calistoga Ranch. Food was only 4 star. Service was excellent all the time. One of my best places to go back to.
