Also, history of Oregon if desired. Our snowshoe guide, Nick, is very knowledgeable about history and development of OR. We were interested, as we are new transplants to the area. The snowshoe tour was vigorous but perfectly timed, with the final vista being the Three Sisters mountains. Heartily recommend this tour. They were kind to accommodate taking just the two... More

I did a snowshoeing tour with Wanderlust 10 years ago and was blown away by the experience. This time, I did the night tour and was disappointed in how much time was spent just trudging along. Our guide, though friendly, talked mostly about the different pine trees in the forest. In the end, we were more exhausted than satisfied. I... More

Our group of 5 joined 5 others on this daytime snow shoe tour led by the amazing Courtney. Her enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge about local flora and fauna (as well as microbrews) made for a wonderful experience. We were shuttled from Bend to the starting point at the Mt. Batchelor ski area from where, after brief coaching on technique (several... More

I treated my son and daughter-in-law to a moonlight snowshoe trek as a Christmas present. It was a fantastic experience! From Mt. Bachelor, we spent three hours breaking our own trails in a snow-covered forest through two feet of powder snow on top of a six foot base. Our guide, Courtney, made the trip especially interesting by showing us how... More

We had such a good time on our daytime snowshoeing trip with Jack. He was friendly and knowledge and I even learned a few things about trees and the forest! Next time I am going to do the night time trip!!

Very cool hike 200 feet underground in a volcano lava tube cave. Really? Right and our guide, Jack, was informative about everything Oregon. This is a must do experience in the constant 45 degree cave.

We were fortunate enough to have Courtney as our tour guide for this fun adventure. We met at Wanderlust Tours in Bend, they drove us out to Mt. Bachelor (with Courtney's fun facts given along the way), we snowshoed for 1.5 hours and then stopped and tested four different beers (while looking over beautiful scenery)! We then snowshoed back (about... More

We recently did this tour (with guide Courtney, who was incredible) while in Bend Oregon. It was my first time snowshoeing and did not quite know what to expect. This tour exceeded any expectations and it will be very difficult to equal in the future. Highly recommended for people of all ages.

On December 26 we spent a terrific evening traversing old growth forest at Mt. Bachelor with Courtney our Wanderlust guide who provided an entertaining and delightful off trail romp. She regaled us in reading tracks of animals, discussing the ecology of the area and providing playful moments such as jumping off short ledges into the deep powder snow. Even we... More
