I went on three different Wanderlust tours: Moonlight canoeing tour, Kayaking tour and Canoe and Brew tour. I had different tour guide for each tour. All tour guides are excellent in terms of general knowledge. They provided excellent service for the tour they led and they made me feel very comfortable. The only suggestion that I have for Wanderlust Tours... More

A very interesting 4 hour guided tour of the Newberry Volcano National Monument 20 miles outside of Bend, Oregon. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a degree in geology. It involved a fair amount of hiking, but nothing overly strenuous. The guide is flexible and adjusts the amount of hiking to the ability of the group. It was the... More

We went on a tour with Jared Garfield on Sunday and it was so much better than I had expected. It was super kid friendly too. Jared was full of information and knowledge and we all learned so much. I would highly recommend this tour. He even stayed longer with us so the kids could swim in the waterfall.

We went on a canoe adventure with Chip to Hosmer Lake and loved every minute of it! I highly recommend Wanderlust Tours. Their gear was clean and in great condition. Chip shared information that helped us understand and appreciate the local ecosystem better. And I learned a new word: Hydrology!

We booked a kayak tour. James was our guide. He was incredible. He was so knowledgeable and engaged with the whole group the entire time. It was truly the most enjoyable experience. It was so enjoyable that we booked another tour. This time we were going on a volcano sightseeing trip. We were disappointed when we got there that James... More

I went on the lava tube cave tour and the canoeing trip, and both were the most fun activities I partook in during the three days I stayed in Bend. From what people tell me, and just from my own experience, three days is not enough to enjoy what Bend and Central Oregon has to offer. Fortunately, by going with... More

Not hard to see why Wanderlust is #1 of things to do in Bend. The most incredible experience I have had in SO LONG! Our kayak guide was TRAVIS (ask for him!)--notice how often HIS name is mentioned in reviews--that's for a reason! Born & raised in Bend--knows all the history & secret spots. He took us to Lake Paulina... More

My girlfriend and I went on the Kayaking day trip. Our guide, Travis, was very friendly and had lots of knowledge and stories about the area. He took us to the beautiful Paulina Lake, which is in the caldera of a volcano. In the middle of our 4 mile round-trip kayak excursion into the lake, Travis took us to small... More

Travis was a *great* tour guide! He was very informative about local history, animals, even edible plants. At first it looked like thunder and lightning might ruin the entire venture, but he was willing to wait it out with us on the shore before putting in as the small storm system moved on an hour later and he was able... Amazing. We had a tour with Dave from Wanderlust Tour out of Bend, OR. I use the term "tour" loosely... because the "tour" was really an extensive 1.5 hour lesson from a person passionate about what he knows, and obviously loves, in the Bend, OR area. Our tutorials started with the moment we (a sibling-with-spouse-celebration of being together) set foot... More
