It's chalk full of history. The lengthy drive out to the lighthouse is quite enjoyable. The whole area is very scenic and it super relaxing. Whatever reason you're in Bandon, take the drive a little out of your way to check out this little piece of history, and the beautiful area!

This lighthouse had AMAZING volunteer staff when we stopped here!! They shared every bit of knowledge of the lighthouse and how the jetty was built that it sits on. We really enjoyed this stop! They also have some fabulous gifts/souvenirs.

This lighthouse is photogenic and accessible from several angles. Do be careful of the waves crashing up against the rocks, though!

This is well worth seeing. It is a lighthouse at the Coquille River's mouth. It is not tall but for lighthouse fans that should not matter. It's entrance is off of Highway 101 north of Bandon. Parking lot is very close. Access is easy and flat. Good views. WARNING: During very high tides and very stormy weather, waves can reach... More

One of the eleven lighthouses on the Oregon coast, this is no longer a working lighthouse. When it is open you can go inside and up in the tower. It is part of a state park, so it would be nice if the state restored the lighthouse as nicely as they have done at other parks like Heceta Head, Cape... More

A very small lighthouse. Probably not real, set back in a cove. Though the light looked real enough. We came across it by accident.

A picture suffices. Not that exciting. Keep going down the beach for more things to see. Pretty though and easy to find.

The coast line is wonderful to view and enjoy what nature has created. It is wild and untamed beauty. Just sitting and watching the waves is relaxing and restful. Worth the stop and maybe pack a light lunch and just enjoy.

This lighthouse was so faded and storm weary it looks like it hasn't been cleaned or painted in 20 years!

Plenty of room for a beach walk or walking around the lighthouse. I missed the tour since it was closed for the season.
