Okay, its small, kinda cute, funky, boarded up, a remnant of the past perhaps. Take the Bullard's Park Beach road and walk up. Take a photo or 2 and then...go back. Not something to drive from Fresno to do. But, if in the neighborhood the drive is nice and the air is fresh and clean.

It was great fun poking around the lighthouse and the area with my husband; we were both history majors and are history and archaeology nerds, and we found a bunch of stuff from World War II; then, to our amazement, we found a marker from WWI! That was a really powerful moment for us; not only is it beautiful, but... More

We went here on a whim and are glad we did. A quaint little lighthouse with friendly staff. It is not too far from Bandon and is well worth the visit.

Loved the view from the North Jetty. Cute lighthouse. Worth the stop. Also visible from the south side.

Lots of drift wood here when we went- which was kind of neat to see. The lighthouse is neat as well- smaller/stouter than your typical lighthouse, but to be up close to it was fun. A pleasant little walk from the parking lot. Really a beautiful area to wander and explore.

Make sure you wear closed toe shoes if you decide to take a tour of this lighthouse (something that was not enforced at some other lighthouses up the coast). There are caretakers - one lady who works the lower level, running the book/souvenir shop and a man (husband?) who jovially welcomes people, in groups of 4, as they make their... More

Bandon is an interesting and charming place to visit. The beach and lighthouse--very historic--are easily accessible. Quite often there are very few people on the beach, especially if it's windy, so it's great to see dogs running freely and happily. It can be quite windy, though. Nearby Bandon is a lovely little town. Don't miss out the cheese factory! My... More

Here is an opportunity to see a lighthouse on the Oregon coast. It provides a nice view of Bandon across the river and the lovely Coquille River and Pacific Ocean. It only takes a few minutes to see it, and it is a nice photo op.
