We stopped here a couple of different times while traveling through Bandon. Never disappointed at the views no matter what the weather. There is beach access from the viewpoint if the tide is out, but we simply enjoyed sitting on the benches available and watching the waves splash spectacularly against the rocks.

We spent several hours at this beach and it was well worth it! Awesome rock formations, caves to explore and TIDE POOLS! The path from the viewpoint & parking area to the beach was easy to navigate, even with little ones. The beach is flat and goes forever. The tide pools were some of the best we explored along the... A not to be missed sight of the mighty Pacific whirling around rocks and tidepools. Great place to watch the waves crash on the amazing Face Rock.

One of the best beach locations I have visited, and I've been to a few.... Easy access down onto this massive rock strewn beach, with just about perfect sunsets (weather permitting).

This place was very beautiful even with a storm coming thru it was spectacular. This is a must see location. The weather was clear enough to see for miles, the sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks was breath taking.

I hit this beach right near sunset and it was incredible. The rock formations make for fantastic pictures. Do not miss if you're a photographer.

The view point looks west with a great view of the ocean and Face Rock and the other rock formations. If it is your thing, it is easy to stay there for hours viewing the waves and the rocks. Sometimes people are on the beach. During the spring Tufted Puffins nest on the rock. They look like little black parrots... More

Oregon seems to have the most intriguing rocks off its coast, and the beaches are beautiful. Tight off Hywy 101, This viewpoint is worth stopping for a look.

This is a perfect place to take beautiful pictures of the coast...especially Face Rock. Great place to walk down to the beach..especially when the tide is out.

Amazing views of the Rocky Bandon Coast. Face Rock is a beautiful place and well worth the two-minute drive from the highway. In California, you'd have to pay to see this place, but it's free in Oregon.
