We were staying a mile away at the Windermere (which is a great oceanfront hotel that is pet-friendly) and decided to drive to this scenic viewpoint as a starting point -- because we didn't want to miss the low tide viewing. Easy walkway down to the beach that drops you near the rocks where you can see lots of starfish,... More

Parking is good and the beach access is perfect! Great opportunity for some exercise. Also a safe place to park if you want to take a longer walk.

Able to walk around and get great photos of the face rock. Beautiful at sundown! Also has a walkway down to the sandy beach!

Every time I visit Bandon, I fall in love with the Oregon coast. This particular area is so beautiful and invigorating to me. It 's a great place to relax and forget your problems. It's such a peaceful place to connect with our Creator. I definitely felt His presence there. It's the perfect place to do some soul seraching about... More

Hit this one up at low tide so you can enjoy poking around the tidepools, formations, and sea caves. A little more crowded than some of the more tucked away beaches, but worth the trip nonetheless. Requires quite a bit of stair climbing, so not the best beach for those that require access or are unsteady on their feet.

Plenty of parking, nice place to sit and watch a sunset. A nice drive through town will get you there.

Yes this really does look like a face without using much imagination. It also is a nice spot to stop and have lunch.

Nice paved walk along the bluff with panorama ocean views.....best spot for viewing on Beach Loop Drive. Don't miss this place and also the Coquille Point scenic viewpoint just a few minutes away.

You can walk the beach for miles, the haystack rocks are beautiful, the wildlife is abundant, you can find tidepools with colorful tidepooley thingeys in them, I love it. This is a frequent walk for me. Look for the seasonal SEA (Shoreline Education Awareness) Volunteers with the telescopes to give you a close up view of the wildlife, along with... More
