I've been here several times because it is beautiful, and there is beach access. Go at low tide 0.5 or below to get access into the caves/caverns of one of the large rocks close to the viewpoint. This is also the spot where whales will be spotted in March!

I lived in Bandon some 30 years ago and just went back for two weeks. The trail at Coquille point has been upgraded beautifully in this time span, and offers two (very long) staircases to the beach. Coquille Point is just a little ways away; Face Rock is a beautiful overlook, but check out all the other stops along the... More

Easy drive from the harbor. There are lots of good viewpoints on the coast but if in Bandon and want to see the sunset, this is the place.

The off shore rock formations, the bird life and ocean view is breath taking! The most famous rock formation of the area is a face looking up towards the sun. Local Native American tribe legend is interesting. It's also a great place to watch winter storms.

This is an absolute gorgeous spot on the Oregon coast. I have come to love Bandon. Not just for the charming small town "Old Town" area but for the breathtaking beaches! Some of the most beautiful coastline!

The whole area is so gorgeous. This rock is just one of the many wonderful rock formations. You can walk a long way on the beach or on the pathways on the cliff above the beach

Breath taking views of the Pacific Ocean, the wind in your hair the smell of the ocean. A great place for some fantastic photos. Bring a pick nick lunch and sit back and get some much needed rest.
