This part of the coast is dynamite. Every overlook is a joy. The parks are well maintained, grassed, with paths, restrooms and a view to die for. Bring your dinner, have a picnic, walk the paths, smell the clean air, hear the surf, enjoy the sun...ahhhhhh the way life is supposed to be.

Worth climb either up to the overlook or down to the beach. We almost did not climb up and it would have been a shame

This is a great point to drive to and watch whales, and for those people who don't want to go down to the beach, it's a great option for seascape views.

We spent time at Face Rock as a friend was a volunteer with the Oregon Coast Whale Watch. We saw whales and talked to so many people enjoying the wonderful Oregon Coast.

We stayed at Best Western Inn at Face Rock, in Bandon OR for the first time. We had heard the beach was one of the most beautiful but we found that to be an understatement. It was jaw-droppingly stunning. It could be the poster beach for the world's wildest beaches, or best undiscovered, uncrowded, non-commercialized beaches in the U.S. Imagine... More

I don't live in the area, but someday I will. Bandon has a true ocean town feel.Reminds me of a very low key Santa Cruz. Face Rock viewpoint has an amazing coastline.Great views in all directions and very little people around.I think many of the coastal towns have undiscovered beauty and Face Rock is no exception.Very Nice!!!!!

beautiful view of face rock and the surrounding ocean shores. The beach looked quite decent but had a long set of stairs to get to it.

Beautiful ocean view and fun to get at just the right angle for the Face Rock. Part of the Bandon Loop Drive West of Highway 101.
