We noticed the "face" right away and wished it would have been less foggy for better viewing. Glad we made the detour off 101 to see it.

I stayed in Bandon because of nice hotel and was so happy that I walked by the beach from the jetty and found new rocks after each corner, Very windy, especially before you cross to were the first parking site is (second the the Face Rock State Scenic viewpoint). Make sure you come at low tide to walk by the... More

We stopped at Face Rock veiw point, but did not go down to the beach. The wind was blowing so hard sand was getting our mouths, and it was also very cold. We have no desire to go back.

For those who aren't even photo enthusiasts, the varied views from on high or close-ups down on the beach will inspire you. There are quite a few stairs to get down to the beach.

Whenever in Bandon. Different times of day, the rocks and ocean look spectacular. Long stairs down to the beach for seniors. But in Bandon by the jetty/river, you just walk over a few rocks/logs and you on the sand. Great place to pick up rocks for polishing.

Whether it be sunny or a foggy misty day you will surely enjoy the experience. It seems that you can walk along the beach forever. Everyday, during my visit, I walk this beach enjoying... More

The parking lot has a restroom. The stairs provide good access to the beach. Low tide is best, but beautiful anytime
