The rocky coast is lovely here (great sunsets); the information boards along the way added to the experience.

I'd prefer to take a drive down the coast. The drive is fantastic all the way to the California border. For a really cool view, go to Port Orford, around 30 minutes south of Bandon. I also recommend lunch or dinner at Red Fish -- What a view!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful vantage point for the gorgeous Bandon rocks and caves. If you venture down the staircase, you can explore low tide caves/pools or driftwood forts. Beautiful place to watch storms from your car also!

We spent a couple evenings walking on the beach and taking pictures. Very beautiful beach! Best enjoyed at low tide.

As an East Coast resident, the Oregon Coast is dramatically different from anything that I'm accustomed to seeing. This viewpoint gave us an eyeful of incredible scenery. Sea stacks and rock formations with unique shapes and names -- Cathedral Rock, Face Rock, Cat and Kittens, Table Rock are all right in front of this viewpoint. We even saw whales and... More

You cannot visit Bandon without coming to the Face Rock viewpoint. The sun sparkling off the water and the waves foaming around the rocks are sights you have to take in with your own eyes; no photos can do this beauty justice. I appreciated that there were bathrooms available at the waypoint, a small parking lot, and some signage to... More

Simply a beautiful view, so relaxing! I recommend wearing something over your ears if they are sensitive because its always windy and I end up with an earache if I leave mine exposed to the cold wind. Great photo op!

We have walked on many beaches and this is our favorite. Usually we stay at The Inn at Face Rock but this trip we stayed in town. What a glorious morning we had walking from town all the way past Face Rock for some dune hiking. We will go back again.

You will see Face Rock best around sunset. It really looks like a face. Take a walk on the beach and relax. There's a nice set of stairs that will take you down to the beach. It's a must see
