Pro-shop is excellent and owners usually on site for a nice chat. Husband and sons take time out monthly to play and have a great time (Cheating) to see who can out-shoot the other. It's all in the wrist!!!

A fun and challenging golf course. Don't pass up the chance to play with hickory clubs! Located down in a little valley with river views on every hole.

This is a very price friendly short course on the same property as the Best Western Hotel in Bandon. We played as a family and thoroughly enjoyed it. Conditions are OK, but it is run on a modest budget. There are several holes that, while not long in distance, still offer a good challenge due to the water that you... More

like scenery, dislike the number of lost balls in the rough. Each hole is a challenge of its own. I wish I had walked the course prior to playing. Several holes extremely difficult if you don't hit a straight shot.

It is perfect place to play nine holes, let the kids drive a cart and a great chance to play with hickory clubs and low compression balls that they played with back in the 30's and 40's. Tom, the owner, is awesome guy and really was about making sure my son and I had fun. Golf as it is supposed... More

The grounds are good...not really sharp and smooth but not really bad. The highlight here is the "Old Style" hickory club games you can play, complete with the vintage golf balls. They rent the vintage clubs right there. The staff if very helpful as well.

Old Bandon Golf Links is under new management, and are going back to thier old name of Bandon Face Rock Golf Course. The new owners are great folks, and the course has never been better! Great greens, lovely mowed fairways, and all of the beautiful scenery combines with the fresh ocean air to give you that "getaway feeling". They've got... More

Trip Advisor has been notified of the new business name, Bandon Face Rock Golf Course. If you have not already done so, you would do a great service to new folks if you would post your positive review also under that name, for Bandon Face Rock Golf Course. This link, for OBGL, may discontinue soon depending on how Trip Advisor... More

Course conditions were really bad when we played but then it had had rained a lot a few days before. Understand the course has sold. Hope this is a good thing. Really like this course for a relaxing afternoon of golf.

Classic old-style nine-hole course. Very well maintained by expert greens keeper (who has worked many PGA and USGA tournaments). The cost is reasonable and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They offer an option to play the course with early days hickory-shafted clubs. The clubhouse is relatively large, with a bar frequented (the day I was there) by gregarious... More
