The Tulsa Garden Center is overall average but the Linnaeus Teaching Garden at the SE corner if very nice. Packed into about 1+ acre (guessing) is multiple ponds with Koi, waterfalls, vegetable garden, lots of container plants and trees, thousands of plants, several arbors, and even an outdoor kitchen area. Very tastefully done. I would give the Tulsa Garden Center... More

I used to take my in-laws to the Tulsa downtown fireworks display on the 4th of July but they are unable to it with 100,000 other people. Tulsa Garden Center offers a great view of the flowers during the daylight and the annual fireworks display at night. Dinner is also provided with the cost of a ticket. Lawn chairs and/or... More

This is a lovely place to visit. I took a historical tour of the mansion recently and recommend doing this when it comes available again. Inside there is not much to see that is the same as it was back in the day, but a knowledgeable man gave the tour and told lots of historical facts about the house and... More

Beautiful flowers everywhere. A great place for photos, a great place for weddings or events in general. It's awesome to think it used to be someone's home!

I recently had the pleasure of a complimentary tour which was originally a home to more than one prominent Tulsa family. It is also the site for Carols & Crumpets in December, and can be used for weddings (I've been present).

Lovely house from the 1920s and fabulous rose garden, arboretum, and greenhouse. A nice adjunct to Woodward Park and Historical Society.

Even though we are here in early spring of the rainiest year on record in the midst of a blight attacking the rose bushes, the blooms were still spectacular. I look forward to returning in the future to see it in its prime. Wonderful water walkway, enchanting scenery, wide open grassy areas of shade and sun. We love it.

Unfortunately the roses in the garden are suffering from a virus so the gardens were not so impressive. There was a small hot house to visit .

This site could be so much more. The Rose Gardens is dilapidated. The hot house is rusting. The lawns are full of weeds. For a garden center, this is more like purgatory than paradise.

We attended the Tea & Crumpets fund raiser here, probably spent less than an hour. The building is beautiful, hard to believe it was a private home, a Jewish Temple, a popular wedding venue and one of Tulsa's most haunted places. Many of the original architectural and design features remain. The garden center gift shop is in a separate building... More
