There is nothing exceptional about the zoo itself, the displays are the same and the animals are the same but what sets this zoo apart is the fact that it is build for KIDS! There is a decently sized play area, with trees covering portions of it that the kids can run and play once they get tired of the... More

Laid out well. Nice enclosures that are kept clean and don't smell horribly! Great sea lion show! Food at concessions is not very tasty and WAY over priced, as most zoo food is!! Nice gift shop. Plenty of parking available. Love the gem hunt!

I didn't go in may of 2014, I just put that cuz TA didn't give me a "put your own date" option. I have been to the Tulsa Zoo twice in the past three years. In my opinion, it's average across the board. Average price...average attractions. I enjoyed myself both times and would recommend as something to do in Tulsa.

A winter visit to any zoo is a bit different from the rest of the year. Many animals are off exhibit, and others can be seen indoors. The advantage of a winter visit is less smell, and lighter crowds. In this case, the weather was cold and drizzly, so we nearly had the place to ourselves. This zoo has a... More

The Tulsa Zoo is located in Mohawk Park in North Tulsa off 36th St North and Mohawk Blvd and for a city the size of Tulsa our Zoo is highly acclaimed - except for one unfortunate incident about two years ago involving a giraff transported to the city in a moving van. Ah well - the entire city mourned the... More

Love coming here with the family. The exhibits are all great and the animals seem to entertain us all. Lots of Kodak moments throughout the zoo. It's nice to see families enjoying the outdoors when weather permits. Friendly place to go.

Tulsa Zoo is not like other city zoos. This place has plenty of room for the animals and contains lots of different species and they are constantly expanded the facilities and diversity. A really great day for all to enjoy and appreciate the wonderful animals. My favorite was the lemurs!

The tulsa zoo is a always a ongoing project, the exhibits a getting more each passing year, new Rino exhibit. Expanded petting area, expanded Elephant enclosure, Penguin and seal exhibit, and the cats. Rain forest (dont miss it) of course the Train ride. There are enough enclosed facilities to make a make a inclement weather visit ok. Eating facilities on... More

There is such a variety of things to do. You can look at the animals, ride the train, play at the playground, go through the rainforest, climb the rock, and more. It is not surprising that it is an award winning zoo.

The improvements are quite nice! The new exhibits are engaging but the zoo is still very much in a transition period. I love the new sea horse tank! Glad to see the polar bear is gone. Man, that guy was so depressing. I swear he just did the same dive over and over since I was 5. I'm now 31.
