We try to visit at least once a year. There's a lot of walking so be prepared for that and try to go when it's not going to be extremly hot, that's misserable. The animals are more active during the early fall, when it's cooler. The Zoorasic park was a blast, the kids and I loved the animotronic dinos.

i have gone to this zoo for about 35 years. every time I go I am more and more saddened by this zoo. in the late 80's the zoo had improved to a nice updated zoo, now it is just ran down. they used to keep things in good repair but now half of the interactive exhibits do not work.... More

Recommend an early visit since the temperature heats up later in the day and the animals slow down in activity. Entry price reasonable and the kids also enjoyed the small train ride from the opposite side of the zoo after walking to the far end. Nice playground area but is fairly large walk on a warm day.

This is a good zoo, and extremely low priced. It has a nice play area at the back of the zoo, and for a zoo the food is really good. They are plenty of trees and benches, make sure you check out all the exhibits, very interesting.

We just moved to Tulsa from Southern Illinois. We love the St. Louis Zoo. I have to say I wasn't expecting much from the Tulsa Zoo....WE WERE very pleasantly surpsied. My son and I had a wonderful time. Even though it was a scorcher of a day, there were places to cool off and get shade or get a nice cold drink or refreshment. Zoo staff is always courteous. The zoo is always clean and I appreciate how they attempt to recycle. The sea lions were very entertaining. My son... More

Brother-in-law and wife were here in May 15 and this was one of our places to visit. Wife and I have been there many many times. They very much enjoyed the Zoo, animal housing and the cleanness of it. Lunch was not the best, had burgers and the meat was cold and buns were dry. But all in all it... More

The Tulsa Zoo has grown so much in such little time. Each time we visit the Zoo has something new to see or offer. Parking is a plenty, the staff is so helpful and willing to answer even the silliest of questions. The food is decent and priced well. They continue to grow each time we are there. It is... More

I am a Zoo Fanatic, so of course I loved our visit. Multiple exhibits and a healthy walk for anyone interested in the worlds animals. My kids absolutely loved the elephant exhibit and of course the lions and tigers! The petting zoo is great for the little-ones. As you walk around it almost feels like you're out on the wild...
