The Philbrook Museum is a gem in Tulsa, OK. It's collection of American art is excellent, and it's connection to the Philips Family adds a unique quality to it all.

This was an incredible experience and has also been recently renovated. This is a great venue to visit while in Tulsa.

Beautiful setting for a museum. Located in a neighborhood of beautiful homes, the Philbrook is in mansion that was designed as an Italian Renaissance villa. The gardens are spectacular. The artwork ranges from African artifacts to European masters to modern art and much more. After walking through the collection, take some time to walk among the beautiful gardens and contemplate... Our family really enjoyed the visit to the Philbrook. The museum and grounds are in the style of an Italian villa. The foliage is lovely. The art collection is quite impressive. We particularly enjoyed the Monet exhibit.

The Philbrook museum has a great collection of art…usually some Picasso's and Rodin's on display as well as interesting traveling exhibits but the real gem here are the gardens. They're a fantastic place to spend an afternoon. They're elegant and luxurious…you really feel like you're at a villa in Italy.

We stopped in Tulsa to see the temporary Monet exhibit Monet OnThe Seine. Monet is one of our favorite artist and we have seen his work in the Musee D'Orsay, Musée de l'Orangerie and Giverney. This was a a good representation of Monet with paintings brought from a number of different museums as far away as Paris. The villa and... More

We started out at the Philbrook anticipating great art and ended up spending more time in the gardens. Allow plenty of time for strolling through and sitting among the gardens and water features.

The house and grounds were wonderful. The art is great, but seemed thin in a couple of the genres. Early morning parking was easy on a Friday.

We had a wonderful guided tour of the museum before looking around on our own. The building and grounds were originally owned by the benefactor and his family - the ceilings, walls, and light fixtures are Italian architecture. The Native American Art and pottery was beautiful. We had a great time!

I was fortunate to visit while a Monet exhibit was going on, which I enjoyed very much. The building itself is a work of art and I was impressed at all the different styles of art the museum had. I must say the gardens were my favorite! My only suggestion might be to have all the beautiful plants and flowers... More
