We started out at the Philbrook anticipating great art and ended up spending more time in the gardens. Allow plenty of time for strolling through and sitting among the gardens and water features.

The house and grounds were wonderful. The art is great, but seemed thin in a couple of the genres. Early morning parking was easy on a Friday.

We had a wonderful guided tour of the museum before looking around on our own. The building and grounds were originally owned by the benefactor and his family - the ceilings, walls, and light fixtures are Italian architecture. The Native American Art and pottery was beautiful. We had a great time!

I was fortunate to visit while a Monet exhibit was going on, which I enjoyed very much. The building itself is a work of art and I was impressed at all the different styles of art the museum had. I must say the gardens were my favorite! My only suggestion might be to have all the beautiful plants and flowers... More

Monet is excellent. Every twist and turn here is incredible. I really enjoy their painting by landscape muralist Thomas Moran which is a painted anti-slavery statement.

Went for the special exhibit on Monet and was not disappointed. For a chance of a lifetime, don't miss this special exhibit. But see everything and the grounds. You will come away with a fresh look at what is art and remember a day gone by. Busy yes, crowded no. Go early (opens at 10) or Thursday when they stay... More

While I have been to Philbrook before, we returned for the Money exhibit and loved it. The building are surrounding area are so beautiful, they are worth the trip alone. The staff was very helpful and I ended up becoming a member. A must see for anyone in the Tulsa area!

I totally enjoyed the museum & the gardens. Both are beautiful. In the gardens there are interesting sculpture pieces. The building is the former home of the Phillips family who made their fortune in the oil business. I spent at least 1-2 hrs. viewing the artwork and could have spent longer. Currently there's a special exhibit featuring Monet ( for... More

I've been to lots of small galleries in US and Canada with better art collections, but none that can match the beauty of this building and grounds. It is worth going to just to see the building and for the outside experience. If you are in Tulsa, or anywhere close, you should see this place. Plan to spend at least... More

The location in Tulsa is amazing, the old mansion lovely and the artwork stunning. Outdoor gardens very enjoyable. A must for seeing in Tulsa.
