No matter when you go there is always a different exhibit. The spring is a wonderful time to visit as the flowers and grounds are stunning.

In town for a family wedding and had a little time to kill. We started our visit with lunch in their restaurant. The crab cakes were a disappointment but the rest of the food was delicious. We walked the grounds first, very nice especially for this time of year. There was plenty to see but not so big that you... More

This art museum is a delight to explore with it's historic section reminding one of the Hearst Castle and it's newer thoughtful additions under the original mansion. Even though started after the heyday of Americans buying things up in Europe from the 1880's onward, this museum has a wide ranging collection of European and early American pieces, some of excellent... We had 90 minutes to kill before heading to the Tulsa airport, and decided to spend it at the Philbrook. This place is terrific! The curators are making fantastic choices. There are a handful of nice works by very famous artists (Miro, Sargent, Copley), but more impressive are the works by less famous people. The collection modern art, for example,... More

Splendid Italian-style villa, interesting history of the family who donated the building and grounds to the city. Small but comprehensive art collection, lush gardens, enjoyable restaurant overlooking gardens. Lovely place to spend the afternoon.

The Philbrook Museum of Art is a true treasure of Tulsa. I was in Tulsa for eight weeks shooting a TV show for the Food Network. I had my weekends off and took advantage of my time. I love spending my days in art museums. The Philbrook did not disappoint. For one, it's nestled in a beautiful lush section of... More

We checked out the Monets and Native Art in the morning. Then headed back that night for a wedding where we walked the grounds. So pretty and lush. A must for a Tulsa visit.
