Worth the stop by, kids friends, don't miss the glass piece by Karen LaMonte. Currently also a wonderful "My Generation" exhibit of young Chinese artists.

While my husband is at convention activities, I explored downtown OKC. This museum was wonderful. The permanent exhibit of Dale Chihuly's glass works is mind-blowing. I was a fan of his work, so this was a real treat. They have a large collection, including a 3 story piece in the lobby - just gorgeous. The traveling exhiibit on young Chinese... More

The permanent exhibits are great, and we can always count on wonderful traveling exhibits. They also have a gift shop that is fun to wander through and occasionally purchase gifts. We are members of the museum and hope that many other community members join as well to support the arts in OKC.

We enjoyed the diversity of art and especially the blown glass exhibit on the 3rd floor. Extra art activities are offered for children, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Place rules. The house exhibitions are awesome. I never get tired of them. The traveling exhibitions are sometimes lacking in quantity so I feel like I just blast through them.

It is small centrally located museum with a small permanent collection. That being said, they appear to get really interesting traveling exhibitions. Worth seeing if you are there. But please keep your expectations in check. It is not the Met. But it does not pretend to be.

We visit the museum whenever they have a special 'traveling' exhibit (ie Passages) and LOVE it!! Sometimes we stay and wander through the entire museum and sometimes just the new exhibit. It is a peaceful, well laid out museum. Well worth the visit.

If you don't associate good art with Oklahoma City, this museum will change your mind. The collection is a work in progress, but an interesting one. The Chilhuly exhibit is very large - biggest installation I've seen. Very interesting.

The museum has very beautiful exhibits that can be seen any where in the world. The exhibits last a length of time then move on. They have your top exhibits. The restaurant is very good too.
