We went to this museum when they had a Dale Chihuely exhibit showing. It was excellent. The entire museum was well done and much better than we had expected. We definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys going to museums.

After a delicious lunch at the Museum Cafe, I toured the Museum. The temporary exhibit "Herb Ritts, Beauty & Celebrity" was Amazing, unfortunately no photographs allowed in that section. The Glass exhibit on the 3rd floor, is absolutely breath taking. The 2nd floor paintings were okay, but that is just speaking for myself, I enjoy the more unique art. To...

Small but nice collection of tradition paintings as well as an awesome blown glass collection(Chihuly). We also saw a wonderful black and white photgraphy exhibit in mid-May. Building is well designed, with nice little alcoves to rest and enjoy the view of old buildings downtown. There's a sophisticated and relaxing cafe on ground level with huge glass windows for people...

The museum offers visitors art, exhibits and special events. The museum is found easily and is immediately noticeable by glass sculptor Chihuly's largest permanent art exhibit. The Oklahoma City Museum of Art is fortunate to have great art, The Chihuly exhibit is a must see for visitors to Oklahoma City.
I really love blown glass and how popular it is here. I believe one of the tallest blown glass works of art resides here. And the exhibits always show cute and beautiful pieces and paintings. I haven't known until recently but the roof is gorgeous.
If you like the artist Dale Chihuly or like glass art they have a wonderful collection of his pieces. We also enjoyed the paintings that looked like photos very real. The restaurant is a little over priced in the museum if you are needing to eat.
Glass exhibit was amazing. An assortment of art styles, ages, subjects, etc. Nice exhibit. Store is lacking.
My wife and I purchased an annual membership shortly after we moved to OKC. It was money well spent since the museum hosts social activities on a regular basis and sends out announcements to members. Dual membership for one year is $75 and a student membership is only $20. One time admission for adults is $12. The museum also hosts...

if you enjoy glass beauty, this is a must. I was amazed at the peices in this museum. I was in live with the boats full of spheres and plant life. Everytime I looked at it I saw something different.
I've been to many museum's around the country. This one ranks at or below average. Its not very large and most of it was the blown glass of Chihuly. I my opinion it wasn't worth the cost to get in but again, if you looking for something in doors to kill about an hour.
