We visit the museum whenever they have a special 'traveling' exhibit (ie Passages) and LOVE it!! Sometimes we stay and wander through the entire museum and sometimes just the new exhibit. It is a peaceful, well laid out museum. Well worth the visit.

If you don't associate good art with Oklahoma City, this museum will change your mind. The collection is a work in progress, but an interesting one. The Chilhuly exhibit is very large - biggest installation I've seen. Very interesting.

The museum has very beautiful exhibits that can be seen any where in the world. The exhibits last a length of time then move on. They have your top exhibits. The restaurant is very good too.

For a museum in a city of this size, the OKC Museum of Art does an amazing job providng very high level traveling exhibits. The museum restaraunt is fantastic and very reasonably priced. The Chihuly exhibit is one of a kind and beautiful. Don't miss it. On Thursday nights, the museum is open late, admission is five dollars and there's... More

You know how some museums can be overwhelming? This one is the perfect size to spend an afternoon. A wonderful permanent collection of Dale Chihuly (including a three-story tower when you first walk in-- how do they clean it? ); great rotating exhibits (currently My Generation: Young Chinese Artists with Faberge coming in the summer), Georgia O'Keefe and more in... Don't miss the Dale Chihuly glass exhibit. It is spectacular. This is a multi-room display of Chihuly's work. Two of my favorites were a hallway where the ceiling is a montage of glass that is backlit, also a room containing two old boats filled with spectacular glass scuplture.

Huge collection of Chihuly glass beautifully displayed. But that’s not the only attraction. The permanent collection includes some top names in the world of painting - Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Andre Derain, Georgia O”Keeffe. Our favorite was a 1913 landscape, “Falls at Toltec Gorge” by Thomas Moran. Also discovered some less familiar artists whose works are top quality. The temporary exhibit we... More

Located in a modern, beautiful space, this art museum is a gem in downtown OKC. The rotating exhibits are always well done and they have interesting permanent installations. I would not miss the Chihully glass collection.

Simply put if you like Dale Chihuly you need to come to OKC's Art Museum. One of his tallest towers, excellently lit form boats, great lights tunnel. It's stunning. Made me love Chihuly........

Beautiful Chihully glass exhibit. This was my first introduction to this amazing artist and his fabulous talent. The art was displayed in creative and delightful ways that added to the viewers enjoyment. The galleries displaying the paintings were well lit and the muted wall colors set a good background. In the various galleries there were easels with seats set up... More
