I happened upon this park quite by accident and am glad I found d it. I wanted to do some eye-catching and found several sites in the park. The staff was friendly and helpful. The small indoor exhibits offer a lot for children to explore and everyone to enjoy. I was especially intrigued by the Beethoven under plexiglass. It was... More

Sometimes I just go out there to be alone. Aside from the ticks, there are bratty kids somedays that you can hear for miles. I really love this place and all the hard word people do to keep it up! There should be more SHUSHING and listen/ open your eyes children!

When the noise of the city begins to be too much this is a great place to relax and enjoy time in nature. It is amazing that a place like this can exist in the heart of OKC, but somehow it has survived as buildings have gone up around it. Even though it is surrounded by the city the area... More

My family loves going for nature walks here. There's no better place for in-town hiking. I love all the activities they have for children.

I am actually reluctant to share one of the most gorgeous walking venues in Oklahoma City. Part of its charm is that it isn't generally crowded. With three major trails (and lots of small off shoots) you can avoid large groups of people without being totally isolated. So, there are several meadow areas and meadow observation points. There are streams... More

We have been here many times, just for a slow leisurely walk in a very natural habitat. A good short hike and family friendly too.

What a wonderful place! Martin Park Nature Center has many trails with bridges, beautiful views, a playground for the kids, a picnic area, a learning center, and so much more to explore. I loved that it was litter free here, there is so much litter all over OKC.

I was looking forward to seeing what I thought was a "nature center" but maybe because it was a hot August day, there was really nothing there but a dusty trail to walk around and wish you could see an animal or a bird, oh wait, we did see a bird in a pond and a school of fish in... More

Awesome nature park with a learning center... A must for kids that live in the city that want a taste of wilderness.

LOVE this place! Staff is always available to answer nature questions, show you their neat exhibits inside, and there are always classes going on. The trails are well maintained, and there is even a creek you can get your feet wet. If you go at a time that few people are there, you can watch the deer.
