This is a fun family outing spot that's suitable for everyone from pre-school aged kids to Grandparents. The park featured four trails of varying length and diverse landscape. The park is great for viewing wildlife (birds, fish, deer & groundhogs) and the learning center is a favorite for the kids. The park is also a great location for photographers, especially... More

What a beautiful place this is, it's very hidden in such a busy part of the city you will never know it's there unless someone told you about it or you happened to pass by the park entrance. It's a great place to reconnect with nature on a hiking trail or let your little ones play on their very nice... More

Lovely little nature park in the heart of the city. We love to go walking/hiking in the morning when the deer are out and about. There's a nice small creek that runs through the park and allows the kiddos to hop from rock to rock if they'd like. The nature center is also fun for kids and a good place... More

This is a wonderful place to visit with kids, starting with the turtles in the water below the cross-over bidge. We loved seeing the active beehive and all of the other nature exhibits. They also have special activities on certain days if you check their website beforehand. Their short hiking trail is a also great & we love playing in... More

This is a great place to go if you want to get away from the city and walk some trails. I have seen many deer here. I haven't been in the actual building to look around in years except to use restrooms. There is also a children's playground that my daughter enjoys.

This is one of our favorite places on a sunny day. Picnics and play are the way to enjoy the day. Winding trails and watery walkways make for an outdoor adventure that feels miles from the city but is a stones throw from the Kilpatrick Turnpike. Amazing photo ops are at every turn, and we love to GeoCache. Download the... More

I have been going there for years and enjoy it everytime. First as a young mother and now as a grandmother.

This hidden gem was the highlight of our trip. We stumbled upon this and we were so glad we did. Beautiful creek for wading. Excellent playground for kids. Good little nature center. Some short trails for hiking.
