First, for a downtown site, this is very impressive. Since I visited in winter, the grounds were mostly dormant but you can tell it is quite impressive, with nice separations between different gardens and features. Indoor, the tropical conservatory is a bit small but very well filled. Worth about 1 1/2 hours.

Of course the outside gardens were resting for a flourishing awakening this spring, but the CRYSTAL BRIDGE Tropical Gardens were enough for one day. Having lived, in the South Pacific for 12 years, it was like returning home. The Ginger, the Papaya, the Giant Ferns, the Cocoa Trees and the Waterfall were a welcoming pageant for my eyes. The ladies... More

We enjoyed this very much. There are a lot of things to see, more than I expected. Would definitely go again.

If you are into flora and fauna it is worth a look. The admission is not much. But in comparison to St. Louis Botanical Garden or Phipps Conservatory you will be disappointed. Outside grounds are lovely.

This is a place that will make you smile. Very easy to hang here on a sunny day, walk around an stop to enjoy the nature exhibited there. The conservatory is lovely, have a bite at the Ice House, and enjoy your time there. Very convenient to anywhere yu will be if you are visiting downtown. It's a very safe... More

Beautiful outside gardens and an indoor green house garden. I spent about 45 minutes and really enjoyed my time here. The staff was very helpful. If you have time I recommend visiting.

Our visit was on a cold and snowy January day. This review is only for the conservatory. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the exhibits. The colorful map and guide allows you to identify a few of the plants. I found it interesting that in addition to the many permanent exhibits, they had filled their place with amaryllis... More

Just phenomenal gorgeous plants from all over the world! You can feel the clean air when you walk in! A little steep for entrance fees. Great for kids, couples or solo! Highly recommend!

This is an hours crawl through a beautifully, constructed facility. Lingering while you look up and about at different levels is so peaceful.

This is a great place for a family outing or a date. Beautiful and well-maintained with all kinds of flora from all over the world, plus butterflies and lizards roaming free. It was also very well decorated for Christmas. This is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small discount with student ID.
