The Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public spaces, offering its visitors a 15 acre natural escape in the very heart of the metro known as downtown Oklahoma City.

A children’s garden, an off-leash dog park, the Park House restaurant, “splash fountains,” as well as paths for walking and jogging provide guests young and old with a place in which to find solitude with nature or seek community and the company of others. The Myriad Gardens provides an elegant backdrop for events both large and small, ranging from concerts at the Bandshell to intimate weddings in the Crystal Bridge Conservatory.

Additionally, the Myriad Gardens offers a variety of horticultural education programs for adults and children. Classes range from story reading, making chocolate, wreath-making workshops to the annual Oklahoma Gardening School and more.

Thanks to a multi-million dollar renovation partially funded by the city, as well as a general revitalized interest in a vibrant downtown, the Gardens quickly is becoming an integral symbol of the new Oklahoma City and those who call it home.

The weather was really nice so we decided to stroll through. Unfortunately for us there were only a few specs of color. Maybe in a few months :(

we walked through this botanical garden on an unseasonably warm october day...being that it was getting into the fall season there wasn't a ton of outdoor flour/plant life to check out but we could definitely picture how nice it would be on a june/july summer day. the indoor garden area was small but was definitely worth walking though. good way... It is winter, though it's a green house. A lot of nice greenery, great landscaping. Some areas could use a bit of maintenance, but it is net and clean, even the restrooms.

So.... you think Oklahoma City. You don't picture botanical gardens as being a great place to visit. I will say that it is not inexpensive to tour the conservatory (Adults $8/Child 4-12 $5), there is plenty to do on the outdoor grounds that is free. I personally have an annual membership. I go 1-2 times per month, plus we get... More

Wasn't sure what to expect, a little pricey for what it is but really neat. My niece and nephew loved it and kept calling it a jungle. It was a cool place and we probably spent 40min inside and outside.

This gem brings the tropics to you. It is full of tropical plants and birds. The facility is multilayer so you can look down on the vegetation

My husband and I were married at the Meinders Garden Terrace back in early November. Chelsea was the best for coordinating. She responded to my every frantic email. My pictures look fantastic due to the beautiful landscaping. I have no regrets!

Smaller than expected, but worth a visit. Good location, on the edge of Bricktown in OKC. There is a nice playground on the grounds as well.

We visited with family visiting from Virginia and we all enjoyed it. There were several photo op locations, birds and flowers.

On our last road trip we stopped in Oklahoma City for a night and some sightseeing. I have found the Myriad Botanical Gardens on TA searching for "things to do in Oklahoma City". It's not enormous as others I have been before, but very cozy, neatly organized and taken care of with a great heart. I love the moder architecture... More

Dearest Canada. Thank you sooo much for this lovely review. I have shared it in an "all staff" email and they love the "neatly organized and taken care of with great heart" sentence. Again, thank you for making the Myriad Gardens a stop on your adventure. We are grateful. More
