Great trip! Very clean and animals were all out and posing for pics. It is very family friendly, especially the petting zoo, water play, and butterfly area. This trip we even were able to watch the seal show.

We really enjoyed this zoo - the exhibits are large and the animals seem to have plenty of room. Strangely, the exhibits are cleaned while the zoo is open so many animals were not on display during the early hours of the zoo opening. We just circled back to see whatever was missed. The routes in the zoo require one... More

I had not been to the OKC Zoo in several years. The improvements to this zoo are very nice. The large areas they have for primates, big cats, and elephants are very nice. They have done a great job on the vegetation and landscaping. There are lots of areas to find shade from the summer sun, and lots of things... More

How can you not love the zoo? OKC's zoo is very good, especially the Oklahoma Trails, which exhibit animals/plants native to Oklahoma. The new elephant exhibit was a bit disappointing as you waited so long for such a short show. The lion overlook and orangutan/gorilla area is great for kids to get up close to these animals.

Took our 5 yr old there for the last two years and we love it. Took the tram around(a lot lol) and fed the giraffes.. we loved learning about the animals, their names and where they're from, how long they've been there, and just general info about the zoo. If and when we go back to OKC we will visit... More

through the years we have watched the zoo transform into absolutely one of the best zoos in the United States. Just got back from San Diegos zoo and can honestly say we were not impressed now that we go so often here in OKC. The Oklahoma exhibit itself is something to be so proud of,,,the gorilla habitat,,the lion keep,,the new... More

Medium sized zoo, wirh inexpensive ticket prices, and small animal shows. Ticket prices dont include train ride around entire park, but the entire zoo is easily walkable. The elephant exhibit is large and new, as well as the makeover in several other areas. Get there early to give the Lorakeets some nectar-it runs out towards the end of the day.Bring... More

I like that it is a place you can take the whole family. This is an all day outing if you want to take full advantage of everything that is available. There are places to eat. There is a tram to ride if you get tired of walking. If you have young children I suggest you bring a stroller. They... More

It has been quite some time since we have visited the OKC Zoo. We took our two oldest grandchildren recently and were pleasantly surprised at the improvements. Stingray Bay had to be the highlight - we were able to feed the stingrays and it is an unusual sensation. We also visited the Lorikeet adventure - pay attention when the guide... More
