Yesterday was a very blustery, cold day but that didn't stop us from taking our grandson to the OKC zoo. Never an attraction to disappoint, even in the middle of winter the zoo still has a lot to offer those hearty souls who choose to enjoy a fine day-outing. The highlight of our trip was to see the new baby... More

I have been to many zoos, and the OKC zoo is still one of the best. I'm not sure what other reviewers are expecting when complaining about having to walk around the zoo. This zoo covers a wide area of space, so in order to see everything, you're going to have to walk....or shell out some money to ride the... More

I love the OKC zoo. The only downfall is that parts of the paths are blocked because of construction and what not. So you do have to back track a lot. But its beautiful and clean.

A lot of animals were off exhibit the day we visited. The zoo grounds were difficult to get around in and we had to backtrack at times to get to a different area. It took too long to see the few animals we found.

I took the kids up for spring break. We have been there a few times, but I didn't think they'd be that busy during spring break. I was wrong. It was very busy. They do have a wide variety of animals and several restrooms and eating places. There is a gift shop and a train. It is a good place... More

I have seen zoos all over the world, and all over the US, and this one really is one of my favorites. I like that it is walk-able, and that you get a "workout" in if you choose to spend the whole day there. Given that, do come on a nice day that you want to spend outside, otherwise you... More

The zoo is not laid out well and this causes a lot of walking. We walked a long time between animals and the children with us got tired and lost interest. We did enjoy the animals that we saw although not many.

I love going to the zoo but it is dissapointing when you get there and over half of the animals are gone. I go to the zoo every year and it is basically a repeat. The only reason that I continue to go is because it is basically a tradition in our family.

I really like our zoo in OKC, I've been to quite a few zoos in my life and I personally think this is the best one I've been too. Has a high amount of animals lots of things to do it's cheap and close to home for me. I recommend anyone to visit you won't be disappointed!

I was surprised to find, once I left home and went out into the world, how the zoo I had grown up with was much better than a great many in the country. Typical lines: great time for the entire family, yadda yadda. All true. Worth the price. Support it.
