With our 3 year old that loves zoos, we have visited the following zoos in the last year - Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Denver and Albuquerque zoos, so we have something to compare this zoo with. Here's our likes and dislikes. Pros: 1. The animal enclosures are pretty big which probably makes the animals more comfortable. 2. The zoo... More

I love traveling to different zoos all over the country and this zoo certainly doesn't disappoint. It's got a very diverse group of animals and the exhibits are well laid out. I've been about 6 times so far and since I'm a zoo member I will be going back more frequently. I would definitely recommend wearing a comfortable pair of... More

We love our zoo! We've had a zoo pass for twenty years! So much to satisfy everyone, and they're always making improvements. So many fun play areas, clean bathrooms conveniently situated all over the park, beautiful botanical gardens are part of your walking path. Excellent staff, highly educational. We can go for a day or just for a few hours.... More

The OKC zoo has made and continues to make wonderful improvements in the animal habitats. The elephant area is wonderful especially with the addition of the baby elephant. We visit the zoo several times each year.

We all had fun and enjoyed ourselves! Awesome day for a group outing. We ate here at the zoo and the food we had was good but on the high price side , but anything to help the animals!

I was hesitant to take my kids to the OKC Zoo because I'm not a fan of zoos. I don't like it when they are housed in small habitats and look bored and out of their element. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by this zoo! The animals all seem to have ample sized habitats and plenty... More

We LOVED seeing a baby Rhino play and try to get his mom to get out the mud pit. This was the highlight of our zoo trip! We also loved seeing the baby elephant play with the herd and go swimming, trying out her trunk in the water - using it like a toy. Very fun. The zoo is very... More

I've been to the esteemed San Diego Zoo, and the only thing that zoo has that OKC doesn't is pandas. I was thoroughly impressed with the animals' demeanor. They are well cared for an happy. They interact with the people and aren't hiding or pacing like I've seen in other zoos. The habitats are well planned with the animal's welfare... More

Were new to Oklahoma and one of the things we wanted to do, was take our kids out for some family fun. We decided to take the kids to the zoo, and we are definitely glad we did. We all enjoyed our time there. Lots of things to do, all the animals were out. We're definitely planning a trip back... More

Very nice time with family. Zoo had a diverse population. Clean. Wear your sneakers. The train wasn't available to hop on as much as I would have thought but a good dollar spent.
