If you are a first time or non regular rider of horses, then this is the place for you. We had a blast of riding the trails and learning to ride the do and don't of riding horses. Best if you make reservations ahead of time. Great staff and even better horses.

This place has stood the test of time. The stables are clean, VERY friendly staff (owners) and nice, calm horses. It's best for an early morning summer ride due to heat or a springtime or autumn visit. Love the smell of the horses!!

If the Oklahoma weather is cooperating, this is a pleasurable couple of hours, back-to-nature leasurley trail ride. It is visable from Hiway 9 less then 30 minutes east of Norman/O.U. Great for families, or a date, allow a couple of hours. Thunderbird Lake state park with camp grounds is close by, and a very nice cafe on the lake also... More

Kind of old and sad...They were talking about getting new horses when we were there. See review: Clean up this lake and its shores! This was the same trip...

They had good horses and reasonable rates. The trails were pleasant and clearly marked. We had fun every time that we went horse riding.

The horses are well-cared for and well-trained which makes the experience more enjoyable for those of us who care about animals. The trail is pleasant, wooded and with at least one view of the lake. The grounds are fenced. The operators are very willing to give beginners riding tips. I don't believe the owners are interested in people who want... More

On a recent return visit to Oklahoma, my partner wanted to participate in some more nature-based activities, so I thought it would be a great chance to re-visit this little known gem. Man was I disappointed. The ranch hand there was very short initially, and seemed to look down on us for being "out-of-towners." Being a proud Oklahoman, I found... More
