The Castle was a perfect stop on our holiday trip. Viewing lights and displays from a hay covered wagon pulled by a tractor couldn't have been more perfect. Following up the experience with a cup of hot chocolate and some shopping in the gift market completed the experience. This will certainly be a stop on our holiday adventure next year.

We had never visited this type of castle, although we had visited several across the pond. It was good, clean fun, and family friendly even though there was 'drink' around they were very alert to people who over indulged. It has good quality craftsmanship on every item I looked at purchasing or did purchase. There was a wonderful big pipe-organ... More

This coming year will be our second year as Friends of the Festival, a great value if you want to go more than a couple times and you can bring friends for free,(4 any day tickets). I have not been to the castle at Halloween, where most of the bad reviews have come from, but I know that me and... More

We were on a bus trip to see the lights, there were so many inflatables. They had a castle that has shops, you can watch a movie. They also had a restaurant, wine tasting, and you can buy hot drinks, petting zoo, and more.

Castle appears to be a wooden replica and is used for certain events during the year. We were lucky enough to visit during Halloween so there was plenty of spooky thins going on. Not sure how it would be during 'non events' time

We were highly disappointed with the trip. We were advised at the ticket counter to buy the family pack(?) because we had an 11 y.o. and the scarier packs were advised for 13+ and "there are no refunds if he got scared." Our son was actually so bored he begged to leave. We had no problem considering the staff inside... More

cdc8982: We regret to hear that your experience here did not meet our standards for excellent service. Rest assured, we will address what you were told at the ticket booth - it seems that the way it was conveyed to you was the source of the miscommunication. The Adult and Child Fun Packs do not, indeed, contain the scarier events... More

Lines were long and it's easy to get turned around. A simple map on the sheet we were given would have been helpful to find the haunts we purchased. It's still a very fun halloween attraction. The Trail of Blood was thrilling and Casa Morte was exciting, just when you thought it ended there was more around the corner. We... More

KyleandCara: Thanks for coming out to the Festival - we are so glad you enjoyed yourself! If you return, you can find maps in 6 places in the streets, and you can also get a map at the Info Tent next to the ticket booth. Any character in the street (and many of our merchants) can also direct you. Hope... More
