My husband and I been wanting to visit the Roger Miller Museum for years and finally made the trip for my birthday. We weren't disappointed! This is a very nice museum with lots of Roger Miller's items. The museum is a great collection of Roger's massive career. The staff is very friendly and informative!!! The gift shop has some very nice Tshirts and collectibles. This is must see for any country music lover. Thank you Mrs. Miller for sharing these items with Roger's fans. And... More

Doing our Route 66 thing, we passed by this small town museum, but decided to backtrack for a stop as we were ready for a break, and have spent many hours singing "Trailer for Sale or Rent" in harmony! This museum in Erick contains many items of memorabilia from the Roger Miller estate. His widow has been very generous to the museum. Records, contracts, information, and displays feature the life of Roger Miller from boyhood throughout his career. This small museum would very interesting to anyone who remembers Roger Miller and his wonderful musical legacy. The displays were presented in a logical and interesting way. The video in the back room brought back many memories of this talented song writer and singer.

Maybe you are too young to remember Roger Miller's contribution to music but even so, his work was so different and has yet to be matched. This little museum in his home town has much to offer. Visit Erick to see the Roger Miller Museum which is full of interesting anecdotes about his life. Just outside the museum you can drive on the original Route 66.
