Museum's web site said museum is open 8-5 daily except closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas, with $5 admission fee for adults. I have the page printed out...dated 12/24/14. The only reason we stayed in Claremore was to go to this museum. Arrived at museum first thing in the morning and it was closed! Sign on door said open at 10,... More

Will Rogers was definitely a well-rounded individual. This museum has beautifully captured so many aspects of his life. The layout is absolutely wonderful. There were so many different short films, and interesting tidbits about Mr. Rogers. There is even an area in the basement of the museum for children. The museum staff were very friendly and eager to answer any... More

This is a lovely museum and tribute to Will Rogers. I am a huge admirer of Will Rogers and went specifically to the area to visit the memorial. Such nice folks work there, and we talked for a long time. The museum itself has many personal effects, informative displays, and of course, movies. (I took a drive over to Oologah... More

I was moved to tears in the diorama room. Truly. How many dioramas can you say that about? Overall, it's a humble, straight-forward museum-memorial-tribute to the legend. Coming from a man who only knows Will Rogers from what he's seen at the American Adventure at EPCOT, this was very eye opening. I wished the movie posters weren't computer reprints, but... More

An absolute "must see" for Western enthusiasts and an enjoyable venue for everyone else. Beautiful building and grounds. I could have spent hours here and plan to go again next time I'm in Oklahoma. A distinguished memorial to a man who is still "cool" almost 100 years after his prime!

If you are in the area of Claremore, by all means, stop in here. It is a majestic building that looks like a castle high on a hill. The grounds are beautiful and Will and his family are buried in the front of the building. There are a lot of pictures, movies and newsreels, memorabilia and interesting things to learn... More

This is a fitting museum of the life of Will Rogers. A little bit off the highway but worth the trip! Have videos of Will's films and of his rope tricks. A tragic death of 2 great Americans! Don't miss his tomb. We needed more time!

We absolutely liked this museum. Being a history buff and liking Will Rogers. It is a great place to see how he came into the spotlight. Would suggest this museum to anybody traveling near Tulsa.
