Visited the Will Rogers Memorial Museum on a rainy day because I was looking to stay indoors. (By the time I was finished at the museum--2 1/2 hours later--the sun was out and it became a beautiful Oklahomian day.) I really did not know much of Will Roger's live, career, and history, but after going through the museum and sitting... More

This a Museum that shouldn't be missed if you are sightseeing in Oklahoma! The grounds are lovely and well groomed as well as the museum building itself. It is AMAZING how popular Will Rogers was during his lifetime and how well he was received by his peers and the public! He was a man of many talents and was never... More

We stopped at the Will Rogers Museum at we were driving down Route 66. unfortunately when we arrived there the museum was closed, but we looked around the property though. Nice stained glass tribute to Will Rogers on the side of the museum. Also a beautiful garden and a nice statue of Will Rogers on his horse.

Loved the grounds and all the contributions by the family to share with us. Laid out well, you don't feel squashed next to the next guy.

The Will Rogers Museum is a fantastic walk through the life of an amazing, muti-faceted man. Cowboy, roper, newspaper man among many other fantastic traits. The museum covers his life and all the aspects as movies, books, trick horse riding etc. through movies, posters and written manuscripts. The museum is set on beautiful grounds high on a hill overlooking the... More
