This a Museum that shouldn't be missed if you are sightseeing in Oklahoma! The grounds are lovely and well groomed as well as the museum building itself. It is AMAZING how popular Will Rogers was during his lifetime and how well he was received by his peers and the public! He was a man of many talents and was never... More

We stopped at the Will Rogers Museum at we were driving down Route 66. unfortunately when we arrived there the museum was closed, but we looked around the property though. Nice stained glass tribute to Will Rogers on the side of the museum. Also a beautiful garden and a nice statue of Will Rogers on his horse.

Loved the grounds and all the contributions by the family to share with us. Laid out well, you don't feel squashed next to the next guy.

The Will Rogers Museum is a fantastic walk through the life of an amazing, muti-faceted man. Cowboy, roper, newspaper man among many other fantastic traits. The museum covers his life and all the aspects as movies, books, trick horse riding etc. through movies, posters and written manuscripts. The museum is set on beautiful grounds high on a hill overlooking the... More

Set on a beautiful point overlooking a wide vista, this is a well laid out museum. Lots of history and very informative facts about the life of Oklahoma's favorite son. There a two theaters that run short film clips of Will Roger's career. Certainly worth a stop off the busy turnpike.

If you are traveling from the Northeast through Missouri into Oklahoma, it is definitely worth a stop in Claremore to visit the final rest place of Will Rogers, Oklahoma's true Native Son. The museum serves his career as a movie star and raconteur well. There is a movie theater that runs clips from his films, especially those highlighting his prowess... More

A great collection of Will Rogers artifacts and memorabilia. A most spectacular location for a Museum. Not a glitzy shinny modernistic cold museum. The building and grounds are from an age gone by. Built to "old world" craftsmanship. Just the large native cut stone building is amazing.

If you want a true history lesson, visit. I have grown up in this town and like many, we don't truly appreciate what we have until we take the time to look around. This Museum is one of the top in the nation and explores not only the man but the history of Oklahoma and the United States and his... More
