Nice tour and history of Oklahoma's Native son. If you visit the Memorial make sure to go to the birthplace by Oolagah, well worth the time!

As Australians, before visiting the Will Rogers Memorial Museum we just thought of Will Rogers as an old time cowboy movie star and part time philanthropist who was famous for his lasso rope tricks. Our visit to Claremore as part of our explorations during our Route 66 road trip and the museum Guide "Pete" we learned that Will Rogers was... More

Great family museum. Room after room of information and artifacts from one of Oklahoma's own. Magnificent view overlooking the town. Theater inside playing Will Rogers many movies. Our Greeter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Gave us directions to visit the homestead only 13 miles away. Excellent for class trips.

Worth your stop! We were not planning on attending this, but my mom really wanted to stop. There is much to offer here. The exhibits are fantastic and varied. Lots to watch, see, do, view…very well planned. Something for all ages to enjoy. The gift shop is also excellent. Would go again!

When I travel, I try to visit at least one unique attraction in that particular city that is unique to no other place in the world. The Will Rogers museum is that one place for the Tulsa area. Will Rogers was the top entertainer in his day, at the same time, in 4 major industries: radio, movies, print, and theater.... More

I don't usually like these type of museums but I found this one well laid out, clean, and interesting. It seemed to have more about his family/life/friends and not just his accomplishments. Very well-rounded museum. We also drove out to the family farm but it was not nearly as interesting.

I have been to the memorial since I was a little girl and now, as a senior citizen, memories come flooding back every time I visit! As a child, I loved the dioramas of his life and as an adult, I always chuckle at his political observations. While visiting a couple of weeks ago, a traveler from Pennsylvania ask the... More

I thought I knew a lot about Mr. Rogers before I visited the museum, but I learned there was so much more to the story. The facility was very well maintained and a cool respite on a warm humid day. Much of what this man observed and said is still valid today. I would recommend taking your youngsters if they... More

We took a troop of Girl Scouts to the museum to earn a badge. I hadn’t been there since I was a kid. Its much easier to appreciate the kind of man Will was as an adult. The facility, after all of these years, is still top notch and well maintained. Much of what this simple Okie had to say... More
