A little nutty!!

I shopped there around the Christmas holidays. They have a very nice selection of nuts, meats, cheeses and gift items. A great place to browse.

Located on historic route 66 just outside of Claremore, OK. Actually, it doesn't look like much from the outside. It isn't the typical kind of side of the road nut house, but you won't know it until you actually go inside. In fact the otuside kind of put us off a bit - there were actual "toilets" filled with sand... More

I love to go to The Nut House and cruise the aisles. This is not your run of the mill small store, this is an adventure of memories, discovery and sensual awakening. You will find that they specialize in what the big box stores don't carry, besides nuts of all verity, plain, raw, salted, chocolate covered and nut oils, you... More

I am in the bank travel business. I take senior citizens on bus tours. I took a group to Claremore, OK on September 23rd and 24th. On the 24th we had lunch at The Nut House. Hazel (the head nut and owner) made a delicious Mexican buffet for my group. We had a separate room off the store and deli... More

Yes, The Nut House has nuts, fudge, and other goodies! By the way, the fudge is amazing! I stop for lunch. I pick up a sandwich, chips, and a drink so that I can picnic a little further down the road at The Blue Whale. The women that work at the shop are super friendly. I feel like family when... More

Most of the items in the shop were expensive. We did try a free sample of some fudge, it was really good. We bought some hazelnuts, but they were much more than you would normally find at a grocery store. There is a deli counter with sandwiches and stuff, but we didn't try that.

I can never pass up the dark chocolate covered pecans. Their fudge is wonderful too. You can get a sandwich, gifts, all KINDS of quality nuts and snacks. A fun place to stop and friendly people.

We stopped here on our Route 66 sightseeing trips and I am so glad we did. It was a little difficult to get to as there was construction going on in front of the entrance so we had to drive a good distance around to get there. It was worth it though. The selection of nuts, coffee and fudge was... More

Stopped here on my drive down Route 66 the other day. I had been meaning to stop for a long while now, and finally got the chance. It is pretty much your standard affair of fudge, nuts, candies, and trinkets. I was surprised to see they also had a deli too. Free tastes of the fudge are offered by the... More
