We came to hike and that we did. Try the Lakeview Lodge trail too, seperated from the others and very quiet.
This is a very nice park, with lots of trails, and lots of good fishing. A pair of Bald Eagles were feeding their young just across the stream from the restaurant.
We met our kids and grandkids (they are all from Texas and we're from Oklahoma) here for spring break and had a delightful time. Horseback riding, hiking along the river, and fishing for trout. Our log house was about 5 miles from the lake and was very accommodating with a hot tub and fire pit for smores. We ALL voted... More
My husband and I had a great time fly fishing. We also enjoyed hiking the trails and exploring the Forest Heritage Museum. The restaurant in the park served great food.

My son and I had a quick trip to the river. It is a great place to take time to go fish. It gets crowded but still worth the trip. We have been many times and always have a great time fishing and enjoying the scenery.

In spite of a drizzly rain , damp and the hanging fog- add so much more to the setting of all landscape pictures. It didn't take long for me to take 32 pictures, everything was so beautiful.
There are many hiking trails to choose from, a beautiful river to play in, a decent restaurant and lots of campsites for either tents or RVs. There is a nature center to learn about animals in the forest. Also, it's right next to Broken Bow Lake so there are lots of family activities. This is a great vacation spot for... More
