We just spent a couple of days at Beavers Bend - didn't catch any fish, though we saw people that did. We elected to tent camp in the primative camp grounds. The sites are nice, along the river, but the bathrooms are in a word - NASTY. Come on Oklahoma, spend some money on some decent toilet facilities that we... More

We came to hike and that we did. Try the Lakeview Lodge trail too, seperated from the others and very quiet.

This is a very nice park, with lots of trails, and lots of good fishing. A pair of Bald Eagles were feeding their young just across the stream from the restaurant.

We met our kids and grandkids (they are all from Texas and we're from Oklahoma) here for spring break and had a delightful time. Horseback riding, hiking along the river, and fishing for trout. Our log house was about 5 miles from the lake and was very accommodating with a hot tub and fire pit for smores. We ALL voted... More

My husband and I had a great time fly fishing. We also enjoyed hiking the trails and exploring the Forest Heritage Museum. The restaurant in the park served great food.

First let me say, we have gone to Beaver's Bend for over 35 years. The park is wonderful but the cabins have completely deteriorated. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin (duplex) on the river. It was awful! An effort had been made to "update" the cabin. A corner fireplace, new wood ceiling and laminate floor had been installed. Here... More

we go there almost every summer. the cabins are nice and the fishing is awesome (be sure and get a license) river rides and winding roads are so scenic. we rented a convertible on most trips to drop the top and enjoy the trees and the breeze. they have well thought out hiking trails and they offer television but you... My son and I had a quick trip to the river. It is a great place to take time to go fish. It gets crowded but still worth the trip. We have been many times and always have a great time fishing and enjoying the scenery.

Beavers Bend park is a hidden gem. It is by far one of my favorite places to visit. Beautiful river, mountains, trails everywhere. Be prepared to be surrounded by God's country in all it's splendor. Fun for all ages with a mini train and horse rides for the little ones.

In spite of a drizzly rain , damp and the hanging fog- add so much more to the setting of all landscape pictures. It didn't take long for me to take 32 pictures, everything was so beautiful.
