What a state treasure this is! We drove down from Norman, via the Indian Nations turnpike. Be prepared for tolls, but it allows for the quickest journey. Our family has travelled around the world, and we appreciated the cleanliness of this place, and the peace and calm that a state park provides. We stayed in the riverside cabins, which provided... more

The hiking trails were outstanding! Especially the ones with mountain views. Do not take the Dogwood trail. We could not find it and it didn't look fun on the map anyways. This is a hidden treasure of Oklahoma. We came from Houston to see with no idea how it would turn out and afterward we were completely satisfied with the... more

Beavers Bend is a very big State Park. When entering the park it will seem as though you are just driving along a winding road. There are several cabins along the way for rent. We made reservations for Acorn Area along the river. WE were hoping to put in our kayaks from our campsite but they would not permit any... more

Friends had recommended Beaver's Bend Resort Park as it is only 3 hours drive from Dallas area and much like the Smokey Mountains. We rented the last cabin available close to the river during our kids' spring break. The cabin is across the park road from the river and rents for the same price as the riverfront cabins. Our 2... more

Went to Beaver's Bend Jan 16-18 for the first time after hearing repeated rave reviews from family and friends. We were not disappointed. The park is absolutely beautiful, exceeded our expectations. We saw a total of 19 deer while there! We were there to hike, and the park naturalist at the Nature Center was very helpful in making suggestions on... more

My wife and I stayed here on the eve of our Fifth Anniversary during a tour of the south. We chose this location as we are attempting to visit all 50 states (Oklahoma was our 45th state together), and we weren't disappointed. When I first attempted to book this property, I was told that I had to book at least... more

For those with RV's and who may have not been to this area before it is most confusing. There is very little signage as to just where one sets up. We made online reservations, however, was not told an area. There is another RV area - Acorn Circle - that is first come-first serve type area and then the Buckeye... more

We just completed our 3rd annual family reunion in Broken Bow, OK. The luxury cabins at beaversbendlodging.com are wonderful! This is my idea of roughing it! We had 4 cabins (Dragonfly, Ruby Rhea, Ayatia & Cowboy) for 22 adults and 15 children. If you are looking for a great place to host a family reunion, I recommend Beavers Bend Lodging. more

We spent 4 nights at Beaver's Bend...June 30-July 4th. I found our duplex cabin to be in good condition. The full kitchen was useful, and included pots and pans, dish towels, etc. so it was nice not needing that from home. The cabins were rustic, but adequate. There was a lot of rain and over-cast skies, so that made swimming... more
