There is a totally to take you thru the park, with a well versed guide. Letterman's Mill is a necessary visit.. Also Fellows Riverside Gardens and the Garden Center are well worth your time. It truly is the diamond in the rough.

Something nice to walk around and take in the atmosphere. The rose garden when blooming is certainly lovely but the open space allows for a nice reflective walk.

Lovely part of Mill Creek Metroparks. Features a rose garden with pavilion, overlook of Glacier Lake, large gazebo, rhododendron and azalea garden, herb garden, shade garden, blooming annuals and bulbs, beech tree collection, statuary, and an overlook of downtown Youngstown. The Fellows Riverside Garden was beautiful, relaxing and refreshing. We visited there on Saturday on our anniversary. It has everything from a children's garden to a gorgeous rose garden. It is so beautiful that it is used for weddings and other special occasions. There were 4 weddings going on that day which just added to the enchantment of the day.... More

This formal garden with roses and a fountain offers a respite and a lovely walk. It's well groomed grounds and beds rival any big city offering. Plus there are tags with names of exotic plants for the garden enthusiast who wants to grow such ornamentals in this climate. There is a darling little children's garden as well. Bring your camera.... More

My lady friend and myself were riding through the park one day and decided to trek up the long hill leading to the Gardens. It was our first time. There were plenty of parking spaces but none for bicycles so we parked our bikes next to the Davidson Center and went inside for a cup of coffee. Of course the... More

It's just so relaxing to walk through and sit for awhile just enjoying the sights and sounds. There is a large open area too and kids were flying huge kites, just great to see people enjoying being outside. There is a walk through rose garden and little gazebos to sit and enjoy.

Don't miss this gem located in the upper level of Mill Creek Park. Breathtaking displays of flowers and shrubs interspersed with gazebos. Add a unique gift shop and modern meeting facilities.
