Ohio's largest and most beautiful cavern. Tours take guests through two different parts of the cavern. The Historic Tour begins at the site of discovery and includes the part that was originally explored from 1897 to 1925. The Natural Wonder Tour takes guests on a 1 mile walk through parts discovered after 1925. It includes the largest stalactite in Ohio, The Crystal King, along with many other marvelous formations and colors. Only one tour is offered from November through March. It is a hybrid tour, showing guests highlights from both the Natural Wonder and Historic tours.

Our family had so much fun! Its a timed tour so if your a picture taker be prepared to snap quickly. I would recommend a sweatshirt & old shoes if it has been raining (caverns can be muddy). Bring a little extra spending money $10 group photo @ end of tour is definitely a MUST (fantastic back drop....the REAL cave... More

The interior of the caverns is 54 degrees year round. The caverns are the most colorful caverns in Ohio. The roof drips water. The floor is wet. The staff is friendly. I enjoyed the visit. The tour lasts about 1 hour. You do have to climb 60 steps to the surface. There is no elevator.

What a great way to spend a hot, sweaty summer day in the cool depths of the caverns! Great knowledgable staff, a little on the expensive side but considering it's a family run business, supporting the little guys with all the big corporation competitors was well worth the money. They offer three tours and a package deal with includes both or... More

While camping in the area our group made a side trip to this cave system. The grounds were remarkably well kept, the staff exceedingly pleasant and friendly and the cave tour guides are very well knowledgeable about the history and formation of the caves . Well worth the trip... BUT located in the beautiful rolling hills of south central Ohio... More

Both my sons, ages 21 and 11 had a great time. The caverns are beautiful and the staff were knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. It is delightfully cool year round, but it can be rather wet. There are a couple of different tours of different parts of the cavern. Don't miss this beautiful natural wonder! Be aware, the one... Family had a blast. The natural wonders tour was great. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. The kids got to "mine" gems from the gift shop. Was fun and the $5 bag had a lot of good gems for the kids. Definitely a good place to take the family. Caverns are not stroller friendly so carry the little ones.

My first cave, oops I mean cavern. I didn't know what to expect, but really enjoyed everything. Our guide Allison on the history tour and our guide Zack on the natural tour were great. The caverns were beautiful, this is a must stop if your anywhere near close by

I small cave system that you will probably need about 3 hrs to see what there is to see including the tours. Each of the major tours takes less than an hour to complete. The park is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The walk ways in the cave vary in width from barley a shoulder width to essentially... More

An impromptu trip to the caverns did not disappoint, this place is amazing. My husband, children (11 & 4) and I enjoyed the combination tour very much. Great piece of Ohio history and a cool break from the 93 degrees weather up above. Absolutely amazing!!

My boyfriend and I went and got into the tours right away. We did both tours. We learned a lot about the history of the caves plus the sites were amazing. It was a very hot day so the 54 degrees inside felt nice. Wear tennis shoes or boots because it is slippery and wet. Paths were easy to walk... More
