I heard about this place years ago from a friend who worked there. We came to town this past weekend for a family wedding, and, realizing how close we were (family recommendation), decided to visit on Saturday morning to kill some time before a late afternoon wedding. Not enough can be said about how neat the displays are. We walked... More

Went there with three adults and four kiddies. It was a hoot. I am the grandpa and have been fascinated with steam locomotives since I took a transcontinental train ride when I was five. The train display would have kept me occupied all day, but I had too much fun watching all the fun all the little cousins had. There... More

This place is unbelievable. The model train layout that these guys have put together is fantastic. The layout has a historical direction in tracing the history of railroads through the Civil War into modern days. No only are the trains great but the dioramas depicting life in the various centuries are interesting and live motion brings many of them to... More

This place is fun for both children and adults. If you are in to trains even a little, you will like it here. They have a fun game you can get before you go through that has a bunch of things to find while you are walking through, which is fun for the kids.

If you like trains of any type, you will LOVE this place! It is all large G scale. The layout / tour starts with early 1800's scenes and trains. A you walk through, you find late 1800's, then early 1900's then mid 1900's (early diesel), then modern times, including subways and Thomas! The layout is massive and VERY well detailed.... More

Very nice, well put together layout. Went through twice and saw different things each time. Staff in the gift shop, snack bar, and at admission were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the historical display.

We had grandparents, aunts and uncles, moms and dads, teenagers, and little ones running around! Everyone enjoyed it! The scavenger hunts kept the family engaged and we all enjoyed going through the fun house! Except when the little one got scared in the mirror maze! All good fun though!!!

We had a company event here and the place is INCREDIBLE! The life like train display or should I say town is really unlike anything I have ever seen. The display is massive, you really don't know where to look. The place is very clean, and the staff are very knowledgeable. Gift shop, clean bathrooms, snacks, food, drinks are all... More
