My family has been camping here since before I was born. We usually come out twice a year for our family campouts. We almost always have a great time! Even though sometimes the rangers are a little intrusive, we always get past it and come back each year. We specifically come for Findley's Halloween Campout which is always a lot... More

Friendly staff at welcome center. Visitors have to initiate things to do or ask about things to do. Best time to go when it's not as busy is during Sunday-Thursday. Swimming/ boating/fishing all in same area. Cabin basic but clean. Bring bug spray and sleep with lights on unless you like spiders/critters. Beds very hard- bring an air mattress maybe.... More

Findley State Park has a lot to offer, you just have to get out and do it! Biking trails, Disc golf, hiking trails, boating and camping. The camp sites are well attended with a fire ring in each area along with a picnic table. We chose an electric site to add lighting to our tent area. The downside, listening to... More

I have always camped at this park since I was a kid. Well I missed a few summers due to work schedules and my how things have changed. Commissary not open when we arrived at 515. We didn't bring wood because we planned on buying there. Checking in was confusing. I reserved a spot online and it was underwater when... More

we want to kayak there. We have two 5 star rated inflatable kayaks. Can we launch for free? Or do we need to take a fee?

My husband and I have taken our two Dogs here on several walks. They have plenty of paths that run through the woods or you can walk on the road. Very Scenic and peaceful. They have a mountain bike path, Frisbee golf, camping, small log cabin rentals, I think two boat ramps, pavilions, showers and a small playground with some... More

We enjoy Findley State Park every time we visit! We have stayed in the camper cabin and it is very cool if you are not into tent camping. The naturalist programs are interactive, informative and Roger is great with the kids!!! There is also a nice playground and large lake! :-)

Findley has many camp sites from full hook-up to primitive. You have to reserve early for special occasions. There are also cabins to rend if you don't have your own camping equipment. There are full service showers and port-a-potties throughout the camp grounds. There is a very large lake for activities. You can rent a kayak or a row boat... More

The trails for hiking at FSP are great. The beautiful pine woods are so serene and a great place to walk and think. If you like to cross country ski, this is the place. The trails are great. Some are for beginners and some can be a little challenging. In the summer, I love to swim. I would not swim... More

Findley Park is a great place to enjoy the day. You can rent canoes at a great price, which I highly recommend. Canoe rentals are a first come, first serve basis for the summer days that bring everyone out. Also, bring a fishing pole if you want to fish. The beach could use a little TLC, but is still a...
