The amount of trails, picnic venues, and benches is sure to be appealing to all. If you love the outdoors, then Wildwood is perfect. Great trails for walking, hiking, running, or giving your pets some exercise. Some trails are covered and completely in the woods, while others take you into the open. Love it here in the Fall and the... More

There are several trails to chose from and they vary in length. There is also a paved trail for strollers and wheelchairs. On most days, especially early in the morning, there can be deer sightings. The grounds are kept up nicely. Once or twice we have run into problems on the boardwalk though where dog owners do not clean up... More

Shade and sunny trails, dirt or blacktop. Wildlife sightings. Friendly and beautiful. Just a great park.

The first weeks of December are devoted to celebrating the Christmas season. Volunteer individuals and groups donated their time and talent to making Stranleigh a festive place to tour. A different group of volunteers trim the rooms so each year is unique to any other year. A little sheet is given out to test your skill of finding certain items... More

I just want to be real. Toledo is a dying city. There is not much "pretty" about it. Mostly vacant houses, skyscrapers, and businesses. But this park is absolutely stunning. Truly, the metroparks of Toledo are very nice. And this is the cream of the crop. The trails are beautiful. The only hills in the area. Swan creek is beautiful,... More

Wildwood is the the estate of the Stanahand family the former owners of champion spark plug. The manor House is open for tours. The stables are used for offices and restrooms. The gardens are beautiful. There also miles of trails and even a board walk and a cover bridge. A great place for a family picnic or just a walk... More

You really don't expect such a large, natural setting in the middle of the city. Over the years, I've taken our kids to play on the playgrounds, walk on the trails, and attend summer camps and outdoor birthday parties - all wonderful experiences. The park has several excellent paths - some designated for bike/hike, and some that are only for... More

Visited in the autumn. Was impressed by the numbers of people enjoying the park. Paths were well groomed but rustic. Appreciated the natural setting.
