This is one of the finest parks in the Toledo area. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The walking paths are wide and meander through some of the most beautiful scenery right down to the Ottawa River. There are miles and miles of trails so bring your tennis shoes and a lunch. You'll want to spend a day exploring... More

I have been coming to this park for a few years now. The grounds are up kept and beautiful all year round and their is an awesome mansion on site that is full of history and open to the public. They have amazing trails and a wonderful 19th century style garden to walk through. I highly recommend going if you... More

I have been at Wildwood for many things. The trails are great and offer choices for all ability levels. Dog friendly- child friendly. Music is offered on occasion, home schoolers have programs to enhance their teaching, picnic shelters are available and bathrooms are convenient. The whole Toledo- Lucas County Park System is amazing with offerings unique to each location- from... More

With several miles of hiking trails, Wildwood Metropark is the go-to place for walking and running. Choose from the 1.5 mile all-purpose trail or the 3 mile loop to high ground, combined with the flood trail. Or, simply take the family out for a picnic by the large playing field and play ground. We go to Wildwood at least once... More

Spent about an hour here walking some of the trails with my 3 children. We saw 2 chipmunks, several birds, and 1 fawn. Nice shady trails, some paved and some are dirt/sand. Nice safe place to walk, lots of people with children and people walking their dogs. Mosquitos were awful, Bring bug repellant.

This is a nice park, but it is a heavily used metropark. Some good trails with some hills and stairs. However, if you want to get away from it all, this is not the park to go to. Great for families and picnics. Has some nice old buildings and houses.

Wonderful park. Clean, friendly, great trails. Pay attention to which color trail you are on or you will get lost! Lots of wildlife. Always busy on nice days. Great playgrounds.
