Wildwood is a great place for a trail hike or just to get out and enjoy nature. Can get busy on the weekends but there are other ways to get in if the parking lot is full, including the bike path, or through the entrance at Stranahan Elementary.

This is the first place I took my family to when we came into town. I haven't been there in almost 17 years and have lived out of state since. It is still beautiful and peaceful

This park is so well maintained and I love being able to take long scenic walks, bike rides and or picnics here. This is truly a gem of a park and shouldn't be overlooked for a wonderful time.

A must for any family with small children or outdoor enthusiasts. It connects directly to the University Parks Trail and has a great playground for little ones.

Visit every weekend for peaceful, enjoyable and very beautiful walks. Lovely well looked after grounds that dog walkers look after by cleaning up after their pets as there are plenty of free dog bags available and many, many bins. Lovely historic schoolhouse can be visited and a manor house too. Really nice to be so close to nature.

We were in town a short time & discovered this place through trip advisor. What a great place to take a walk, hike or bike. Trails are even appropriate for someone with a cane, walker or wheel chair. In fact, we saw people using these devices. There was wild life, beautiful trees and the park was kept up to A+... More

This is my favorite park in my area. I feel safe here, and I like the trails a lot. It's a great place for walking, running, or biking. They have a very nice playground for kids, and several areas if you want to have a picnic.

If you like to walk/bike ride this is the place to go. Trails through the woods or paths in the park area. A playground for kids. Clean restrooms. Nature at it's best.

We go to this park all the time because it's the closest one to our home, but also because we love all the trail options. The park is so well kept and secure also. We actually refer to the park as Marla Metropark because our dog, Marla, loves it so much. We also used their picnic shelter for our daughter's... More

The former Stranahan Estate was turned into a Metropark about 30 years ago and it is one of the stars in the Metroparks of the Toledo area. Be sure to take a tour of the Manor house, walk the well groomed trails and visit the visitors center while you're there. There are plenty of well trained rangers and naturalists around... More
