Metro Park

And yet another great Metro Park!!!!! This was a frequent place to walk for me. A great hide-a-way in the city.

Swan Creek has some of the best trails and the wild life is great. You get to see all kinds of birds and the deer are plenty. Plus just getting out and walking your pets and or having a picnic is also fun.

I will be upfront and honest with you it is been close to 34 years since I have last been in this park. But what fun memories I have, the day two young kids picked up their wedding bands and slip them on and ran around the park pretending to be married. Youth really doesn't get much better than that,... More

This metro park has excellent hiking trails and a lot of trees and wild life. It has been well maintained and if possible is even nicer than it was 30 years ago

Many walking trails, several places to just view nature, take pictures, or even a nap. Toledo metroparks have it all. Make sure to visit in fall for brilliant colors!

It's a popular park but has friendly visitors and still feels open and with room to spare. There are two main entrances from both Glendale Ave. and Airport Hwy. take the dogs, the kids,... More

This is a really nice and safe park to walk/run/bike or play at. They have several nice trails (some paved, some not) that are generously wide. There is water fountains for both people and pets (with a bowl at the bottom). The park has a lot of wildlife. There are several scenic viewpoints. The flora is diverse and attracts a... More

We finally visited the park and had a great walk. It was bigger than I expected and had short and long paths to walk on. I'd like to go back and bring our bikes. The Toledo Metroparks are the best.
