Beautiful gardens that is free

A great place to let the kids run. The flowers and shrubs are picturesque. We had family pictures taken here and the flowering plants did not disappoint. No cost and free parking.

I could tell this place is just beautiful in the spring and summer season. We were in the area and just decided to walk thru it. Wasn't much to see this time of year because everything was still dead and not much plant life was blooming yet. I bet by the end of May-September this place is probably beautiful.

Toledo Botanical Gardens is my refuge. Every season is absolutely amazing. I first visited the gardens in the spring. Trees were blossoming, grass coming alive again! I never stopped going after that. Summer: the beauty was astounding with everything in full bloom! The swans and ducks were in the ponds and geese walking in the grass. I hated to see... More

Hidden gem, quiet, easily walkable. Nice combination of plants and outdoor sculpture, all very well done. Can pretty much see it all in an hour or so. Free admission and a gift shop

We recently did a family photo shoot at the botanical garden and the pictures came out incredible. Having the beauty of the gardens in some of our pictures really made for some spectacular photos. I had been there a few times before, roaming the grounds and it really is a beautiful and tranquil place. We decided to do our photo... More

We came here to visit the lithophane museum, which is right on the grounds, then stayed to enjoy the good weather. I have been to far more impressive botanical gardens visually, but those were also expensive. This was free and pretty in a simple way. The roses weren't much to look at this time of year, but the dahlias were... More

This is just a nice tranquil park to walk and take in all the beautiful flowers and artwork. The art festival is a must to do.

I liked the way the gardens were layed-out, and labeled. It was a very easy walk with areas to sit when needed. I would have enjoyed more shopping opportunities. We went on a week-day and I believe the week-ends have more to offer.
