...to take a pretty walk. The homes are beautiful and it's an enjoyable stroll, especially in the springtime.

The Old West End is an area of Toledo where the old wealthy used to live in the 19th-early 20th century. It is the largest collection of historic Victorian homes in the area and consist of beautiful tree lined streets and stately homes. I have a few relatives who live in OWE and I have always desired to live in... More

We have been to the festivals in the summer and recently Tour Noel a Christmas decorations tour. That tour was too much talk about the house owners possessions and collections. The houses themselves are labors of love and worth visiting the neighborhood for. We stopped by the Black Kite Coffee Shop and loved the charm. There are fees when they... More

Its interesting but not worth seeing unless you have a good local guide to explain the homes or during the holiday when there are open houses

My wife and I go every June to the Old West End Festival and have a great time. So many old historic homes it is spectacular. If you have a desire for garage sales, the festival is the time to go. The area is becoming more gentrified but there are still some sketchy areas that you should avoid but overall... More

Just love the Old West End Festival every year - to stroll thru the Old West End neighborhoods and imagine what it must've been like to have been an affluent member of Toledo's society - Many new owners take great pride in their homes with beautifully restored homes and gorgeous landscaping. There are also many folks selling antiques, vendors with... More

These wonderful homes are part of the glory years in Toledo. During the Old West End festival, you can tour them (for a fee). The festival is a great event to find a good deal (large garage sales). I really wish Toledo could keep the crime in the area down and the homes would be kept up with a little... More
