I have been going to the Stranahan theater since it was the Masonic Temple, I have seen plays the symphony John Denver and most recently to 2014 nutcracker. The theater is very nice great seats no matter where you're at, and the prices adequate we all could use a lesser price, but somehow grandchildren are worth it.

They are really doing lots of work here. Repairing roof, paint, and modernizing the Great Hall. I heard they are making this place better than ever! AND they NOW TAKE CREDIT CARDS at the bars!

Over the years I have seen TONS of plays, national touring musicals, and different authors speak here. No matter where you sit at Stranahan you will have a great view of the stage, no matter what kind of event you attend! The lobby is beautiful with 3 giant, glass chandeliers and pefect for a relaxing coctail before a show. A... More

Three gorgeous chandeliers welcome you into the lobby. The interior of the theater is updated, well kept and comfy. Of course the seats are a bit small and little leg room is provided which seems to be a common theme amongst theaters today, but the seats are nicely padded and relatively comfortable. Plenty of ushers to assist with finding seats.... More

My wife and I saw a Third Day concert here. We decided for the Lodge (lower part of the balcony.) It was a great show and the Stranahan is a wonderful venue. Are seats had a great view. We were straight on Left Center in row C 106 and 108. Remember that even number seats are left and odd are... More

Saw Sister Act during Saturday matinee. Great play in a good venue. Ample seating, good acoustics and best of all, a large parking lot with easy access into and out.

Caught the Gregg Allman Band show on the 14th and glad we did! The sound at the Stranahan was pitch perfect and turned up just right that night. This medium-sized venue is a nice size and conveniently located. Staff are plentiful and friendly. Highly recommend catching "classic rockers" here when you can.

I'm very suprised for it being such a quaint small crowd venue that the theater itself is not more beautifully decorated on the inside. When you walk in, all you'll see is a two color scheme wall that closely resembles that of a solitary confinement cell in a nut-house. This place has so much more potential and I think would... We've been to the Stranahan many times, but never when it was as full as for "The Book of Mormon." I ran to the ladies room at intermission to avoid long lines, and was tickled to see at least four attendants ushering women in and out as stalls opened up. I was back in my seat in no time!

Saw several great shows at Stranahan , most recently the annual christmas nutcracker ballet and Book of Morman musical. Was in balcony for nutcracker. Stairs can be an issue for anyone who has walking disability. There is no elevator how ever the staff did advise they have handicap seating if needed. Have seen many different shows here and never had... More
