Sat in traffic for a hour and 45 minutes..didn't get into parking lot until 7pm and closes at 8..very sad. When you print tickets and parking you havever to park in the Anthony Wayne lot...very disappointed

What a perfect and beautiful night. The work that was necessary to create such a display was very much appreciated. We went on a Saturday night and there were so many cars that we waited in traffic for an hour and a half just to get into the zoo. It was worth it, though.

For a Christmas gift for my sisters I took them to the Festive Feast at the Toledo Zoo. We had a delicious buffet style meal at the Lodge ( Prime rib, whipped potatoes, glazed carrots, salad and a yummy chocolate cake). Mrs. Claus and her helper, Ellie Elf, greeted the crowd. After the meal, we enjoyed the beautiful Lights Before... More

The zoo is one of toledo's best places to visit even at Christmas. The lights are beautiful. And in the summer the animals are active.

Toledo, a mid sized city, really prides itself on its zoo. It is well funding and cutting edge. The hippoquarium is one of a kind as is the unique polar bear and seal exhibit. The bird house is a hidden gem a lot of people bypass and its fun to walk through the aviaries where birds fly right by your... More

The Toledo Zoo was recently voted as the best zoo in the country. It is HUGE! And I mean huge compared to other zoos I have visited. I have never been able to see everything in one trip, which means I need to plan better and plan on spending at least 5 hours at the zoo when it warms up.... More

Beautiful! Everyone is friendly and it's a must see!! It is fun for any age, we took my teenagers and an 80 year old. There are animals to see and the lights and music are the best.

For a city the size of Toledo, this is the #1 rated zoo in the country. New exhibits with animals in natural habitat, a new Aquarium in the works ($30MM worth) and the ampitheater, it's no wonder this zoo got it's rating. Zoo lights in the millions during the Christmas season bring thousands of people from the region to visit.... More
