Visited here with wife and 2yr old daughter and had the best time. Lots to look at and many interactive activities. New children's zoo had fun things like playing in a stream and climbing a tree. Polar bears were very active and we really enjoyed the seals as well. more

My husband and I took our 2 year old daughter to the Toledo Zoo this summer. We LOVED everything about the zoo, the attractions, the food, the workers. The only problem we had were the other visitors. Can we possible see more rude people in one place at one time??? I highly recommend traveling to this zoo, however, just dont... more

We tried to get this in one morning with our little ones, 18 months and 3 1/2 yrs. Not a good plan for us. This zoo is much much bigger than our zoo at home and we barely got to see any of it. Don't forget to go in the buildings for some more great attractions. Will definitely be going... more

Being from Chicago where we have 2 wonderful zoo's - this was awesome! Not only was it not crowded the way our zoo's were, but it was clean and we were able to SEE the animals moving around and up close. Probably could use some more food kiosks with snacks around the zoo but we didn't eat here..just grabbed a... more

We took our 2 1/2 year old and 5 year along with another friend and her two kids to the Toledo Zoo. We found enough to do indoors even though we encountered rain during much of the day. The kids really liked the new "Little People" area where they could dress up as animals, pretend to be bees, play in... more

We've been to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo several times and really enjoyed it. We were reccommened to give the Toledo Zoo a try. Granted, it is large, but we were disappointed. Lots of walking, dead ends, and expensive extras. It is clean but does not have a great deal of animals. Thinking of heading to Columbus Zoo next time. more

they've got to be kidding!!!----there were more concessions than animals!!!----this huge zoo sprawls in all directions----even crossing over a highway (you read that correctly!!)---everywhere you look you can find another place to spend some money on the kids---but if you're looking for animals, expect one here and one there---we even stopped one of the help and asked whether there was... more

The animals, and special events like this one and others in the amphitheater, make any warm day worth a trip to Toledo's zoo. See my photos attached. more

loved this zoo, heard good things about it and was not disappointed, it is a nice compact size but still has a wonderful variety of animals and plants. we got through it in about 4 hours on a beautiful sunday afternoon, it was busy but it did not seem crowded. food and gifts were reasonable and the grounds are very... more

Took my 6 and 2 year old boys to the zoo for a long weekend. Had a blast. Food was reasonable priced and good. Gifts shops were plentiful and not overpriced at all. The animals were fabulous and so social. We saw all of them and were they active! Highly recommend this zoo to anyone. ONe of the best. more
