Wonderful zoo for families! I was very impressed to see so many families with young children and all enjoying the day together. Only problem was the heat made many of the animals take naps mid day and not much activity. But the elephants were great. Thanks for the care you give them.

I really can`t review the zoo itself because we were there for a concert. I am wheelchair bound and wanted to let anyone know who attends a concert at the amphitheater that the seating in row d is very good. If someone stands in front of you there is room to move a bit to see the stage. The staff was... More

The zoo exceeded my expectations. It has been given high reviews in national papers. I was figuring there was no way a zoo in Toledo could really measure up. I was wrong! The selection of animals was good. Their enclosures were beautiful. The zoo was beautifully landscaped with ample opportunities to sit a minute in the shade on a hot... More

Great zoo for families! Tons of activities and things to see! Animals were out and wasn't just one animal in an exhibit . Very clean property and the grounds landscaping was beautiful.

My wife and I got some time off work at the same time for one so we chose to make a day trip of it to Toledo and the zoo. The zoo was packed but not over crowded the temps were in the mid 70's and a nice breeze was blowing. The polar bears were up aginst the windows sleeping... More

I visited the zoo with my 8 month old, husband, and parents. We all had a great time. The exhibits are nice. The park was the perfect size for a young child. The train ride was a nice way to see the African animals. The penguin exhibit is really neat. They were very active when we were there. It is a... More

This zoo is one of the best I've been to for small kids and families. It's a smaller zoo but they have a lot of stuff to do and see. The animals seem to be out a lot so you have a good chance of seeing them, even if they are sleeping. The best time to go is when the... More

I visited the Toledo Zoo with 5 adults and a toddler. All of us really enjoyed the zoo. The exhibits were spread out, so it wasn't extremely crowded, but also not terribly far to walk between exhibits. Most of the animals were out, we missed a couple as they were moving from outdoor to indoor or vice versa. We only... More
