You'll feel like a kid in an ice cream store

This is the freshest and best ice cream around. It's an ice cream FACTORY after all. They have a ton of ever changing flavors plus more that you can buy by the carton. There are... read more

I took my kids here last week to help cool them down. The line was long and the service was uncomfortable. Tofts has many different flavors and I had no idea what I wanted, the staff made us feel very rushed and uncomfortable while we were trying to choose our flavors of ice cream. My kids were overwhelmed with their... More

This is the freshest and best ice cream around. It's an ice cream FACTORY after all. They have a ton of ever changing flavors plus more that you can buy by the carton. There are always seasonal favorites too. They don't know the meaning of "small" here. Their portions are insanely huge. I usually order mine in a cup instead... More

There is a wide selection of ice cream flavors. Shop is clean and prices are very reasonable. They give you large amounts of ice cream so go hungry. Ice cream is smooth and delicious.

Can't beat the price for the huge portion you get not matter what you order! You could choose a different combination of flavors and never eat the same thing twice. Local employees are always friendly. It's the ultimate ice cream shop- Coldstone and Baskin Robbins couldn't last in Sandusky, but locally owned and run Toft's can't be beat! Don't leave... More

Recommend: Mint Chocolate Chip Everyone has their favorite Ice Cream place and this one takes my top spot. Yes, even better than Graeters. I always go back to getting the mint chocolate chip on a cake cone. Doesn't get any better. Since this is the factory they give you a lot of ice cream. If you are hoping to get... More

What a great traditional Ice cream place! Lots of unique flavors and huge portions. Not the place to go when dieting.... A bit off the beaten path, well worth the trip!

Tofts ice cream is one of the best locally produced foods in the area. This parlor, which is in the same building as the company headquarters is a great place to take the family. Unlike other tourist traps, the cones are huge and the service is friendly and open all year!

Tons of flavors. Old Fashioned Ice Cream. Double Scoop of the Banana Split in a waffle cone is my favorite. (Banana Split is a Flavor of ice cream not an actual Banana Split)

Go here at least three or four times every summer. Small, desk like chairs indoors to enjoy the many flavors of ice cream, or go outside to the well maintained "picnic" area where there are ample tables under cover.
