Animals come right up to your car for carrots and pellets (food). What an experience to have llamas, deer, buffalo, giraffes and more in your face and their heads in your vehicle! They may startle you at first but they won't hurt you! My children have been there 3 times and look forward to going back again! Just minutes from... More

This place is so much fun when the animals are all out. Take plenty of carrots. And plan to get your car washed afterwards. The animals literally want to get into your car! Take your time and go slow. You will enjoy.

We took a couple (older) grandchildren there, when we had a trip to Sandusky. This is a drive-thru park, primarily. You can buy carrots and feed from the park attendants, and the animals will come up to your car and you can feed them. Just outside of the drive-thru portion is a place to park that offers a souvenir shop,... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are glad you all had such a great time! Currently, due to temperature constraints, only our Drive-Thru is open. A lot of people will put down this place, but honestly you will have the best time ever. I do suggest you bring your own carrots since they charge $5 a bag for them. You can also pay for a cup of food but be warned the animals will attack it. Bring a camera along also for many pictures and... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. we are glad that you had such a great time! We wanted to explain the regulation on animal food to you. African Safari, like all other zoos, is regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) division of Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service. This means that many times per... Had such a great time when my sister and I took our grandkids through this Safari. You get a bucket of carrots. when you go in. One of the grandchildren got licked by a giraffe when he was feeding it a carrot.Such fun for all of us.Great memories

Our grandchildren where fascinated by the animals. Grandpa thought it was just okay, but he's impatient. I'm not sure I would have gone if not taking my grand kids. It is a nice family experience.

Overall, a fun experience for the whole family. The variety of animals is a little sparse. Don't visit here without checking on Groupon first for a deal on admission. I would not recommend driving a newer vehicle as it could get damaged or covered in animal slobber.

We have experienced this attraction twice this year. We really didn't expect a whole lot the first visit but it was so awesome we made another trip up! Our kids (1 and 6) we both mesmerized! We have a Cincinnati Zoo membership and that got us half off admission and a cup of food for the animals!

Most reviews here are complaining about the fact that the place was too busy. We must have been lucky. My husband and I went on a weekday in October and we were the only people there. We took our time driving through feeding all the animals. We laughed so hard. Id love to do this again. A totally awesome and... More

This is much more enjoyable than any Zoo I have ever been to. It truly is a up close and personal experience with the animals. I went with my wife and two young children, we had so much fun. Make sure to hold on to your food cups, some animals like to steal them! We will be back!
