This place is so fun...the animals are really active and will get into your car and really drool and spill food all over. I watched on of the Longhorns scratch the bumper of the car ahead of me...just a warning. Again this place is great fun, bison, deer, giraffe, cattle etc...a petting zoo area, animal shows, snack bar...you can drive thru as many times as... more

This place was a fun alternative to the zoo. I was surprised how many different animals they had there. It was a bit pricey but worth the trip once. more

I travelled here with my wife & four year old daughter, the drive through was a blast. The prices are reasonable with under three year olds getting in for free. You can go around as many times as you wish, there are stopping points along the way for you to buy food to feed the animals, carrotts seemed the most... more

My guess is while it is a fun experience to see the long horns, they are bound to hurt someone, some day. It was funny to see how these poor creatures with their 300 lbs plus monster horns can hardly hold their head straight. One of them was walking from cars to cars begging for carrots, and bouncing his heavy... more

We did this as a side trip from Sandusky. On advice from here, we did stop at a nearby store and bought a supply of carrots at a fraction of the cost they were selling them for in the park. The drive through part was fun, but the animals are quite agressive about being fed. They will try to join... more

We visited the African Safari Wildlife Park recently with extended family with 4 kids under the age of 8. The kids enjoyed both the zoo part and the drive through safari. The zoo part is more limited than a "full service" zoo and the drive through "Safari" was a little underwhelming. Despite the African Safari Wildlife name, the vast majority... more

i can't believe someone used the phrase--"a day to spend"---this place has less animals than your local pet shop (although larger)---you can buy carrots to feed the animals for $3 a pound--at that price they should be labelled carats---a bunch of deer and a handful of bigger animals----pig races for the youngsters---i hesitate to wonder what happens to the perennial... more

We really enjoyed this safari. You get a free cup of food and drive through on your own. I don't think we were prepared for what the animals would do. They come right up to your car, put their head right there in or at the window that you have rolled down. The deer were cute to feed and easy... more

The family adventure to African Safari Wildlife Park turned into a financial bust. We were motoring through the wildlife exhibit and, of course, the multitudes of deer were cute, but when we saw the buffalo and other "big stuff" we were really excited. WORDS OF ADVICE...don't tarry with the big horns. The kids were feeding from the passenger side and... more

We were a little unsure on making the drive from Cedar Point to Port Clinton, roughly 25 minutes, because we had no way to know if the park would be worth it. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there and would recomend people to take time to explore this park. The cost to enter was fair and that included... more
