Maumee Bay is a beautiful destination. If you are a camper, the campgrounds are excellent. Remember it is a state campground (no sewer hookups). Not a problem unless you're not prepared. The lodge is a nice place to stay and has a great pool. More

The campground was wonderful, very easy to navigate, felt very safe. Friends stayed at the resort a mile away, the rooms were beautiful but expensive ($200 night) plus they had to pay extra for their baby. Pool looked beautiful and they said it was like bathwater.
