Great place to grab a canoe and spend a day on the river. The staff was great and we didn't have to wait long. The river was a bit high due to the recent rains but it worked in our favor as we didn't have to traverse any dry spots. We had 3 canoes and had no issues with using... More

We had a challenging group to canoe. Two elderly riders and four paddlers plus one kayak. Dillion was patient and very nice even when we tipped ourselves in. The river was pretty and the place had showers to remove the mud before we headed home. A great time for all.

Sore feet from hiking the state park drove us to seek a sit down adventure. We chose Kayaks on Trip #2 and were not disappointed. This 7 mile trip down the Hocking River took about 2-1/2 hours with little paddling. The water was very low which made for some interesting rock obstacles but it was a very tame trip. The... More

We did the rock bridge trip. We were sore but it was worth it. The staff was friendly and they ran efficiently. We went on a Wednesday and the river was basically empty. Will definitely do it again!

First, the address listed on their website is currently incorrect. If you find one of their flyers at the visitor center, the address is correctly printed on them. Ok, your experience at Hocking Hills Adventure is going to be determined by your expectations. I had none, as I was a chaperone for a group of jr. high boys and just... More

This was my boyfriend's and my first time camping. We went in early May which apparently is pretty early in the season. Aside from one other tent, we were the only campers which was a bummer - and a little scary. Despite having our chairs and coolers stolen our last morning, we had a great time. We played the mini... Thank you for your feedback. I apologize about not being able to reach us early in the season. It has been difficult to keep the phones staffed with the bad weather in the early part of the season. We have hired our full "crew" and have put a focus on answering all phone calls. Thank you and hope to see... More

I reserved a canoe trip online for 9 people, including 3 children. When I did this, it did not tell me how many canoes I was reserving - but we did get 4 so that was good. We chose Trip 2, which the description on the website leads you to believe goes under a natural rockbridge. It does not. The... More

Thank you for your feedback. The Natural Rockbridge is a fantastic state park. I am sorry you did not get to see it. The bridge is located directly across from our drop-off at Trip 2. There is a sign but since it is a state park sign it blends in with the background. Thank you for your business! More

We liked our trip here, we had a nice spot close to the beach in the riverside camping. The kids did go karts, and mini golf. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I would change is having a real bathroom and shower house at the riverside camping. It just has port a john. They do have nice bathrooms... More

I enjoy going to Hocking Hills in the summer time. I usually will stay in a log cabin, they have tv, air condition and heating, campfire and picnic. bed and comfy room, grill for the picnic and it about 10 miles to the state park. Hocking Hills has outdoor sporting such as canoes and hiking. It is also relaxing at... More

This is only a review for the campgrounds and fun center. The riverside campground is where we stayed and the campsites were clean and generous in size with beautiful views of the river. We were able to choose our own site, which was nice - we stayed at site 10. The staff at the fun center was friendly, knowledgeable and... More
