My husband and I kayaked the 7-mile trip (Rockbridge) in late October. The email I received had a link to a waiver form we were supposed to fill out in advance, but the link didn't work. I went to the website, but the form was not working there, either. When we arrived at the appointed time, the place was locked... More

We did the "Halloween on the Hocking" event and it was a big mistake. This place and all the staff are EXTREMELY unorganized. They made the event sound like a haunted canoe ride down the river and then a haunted hay ride with a bonfire in between. So first off, they never answer their phones and finally we were told... We rented the Rivers edge cabin for the weekend to celebrate my friends Birthday. It was a disaster from start to finish. There was absolutely no hot water for showers or doing dishes. We all went in the hot tub on Friday night and didn't the rest of the weekend. After we got home from the trip everyone who was... More

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your experience with us, we take your comments very seriously. However, we wish you would mentioned the hot water not working during your stay. Upon investigating after you left it we found the hot water breaker was off. It was a simple fix. We check the hot tub before... More

Came on a Saturday morning with 64 people, mostly middle school students. Everything was ready and well organized. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had a great experience and will be back.

My wife and I took a long weekend with our 12 year old boy and 11 year old nephew to do some hiking. We rented one of the rustic cabins and got what we expected... a small no frills, but clean cabin (bring your own linens/pillows as the website states) that had a mini fridge, microwave, and small DVD player... I was there a couple weeks ago on a spur of the moment trip. I didn't get to do as much as I would have liked but I went camping at the Family Fun Center and the lady I dealt with there was absolutely wonderful and couldn't have been more accommodating! This weekend it is supposed to rain/storm and I... More

The whole experience was highly disorganized. We were the last to board an almost full van (my husband sat far back and I sat up front). The driver flat out stated he would defy his boss by taking passengers to the third stop due to the mod at the second stop. My husband and I attended the first stop which... More

We canoed with them in May. Everyone was very professional and we had a great time! We opted for the trip with the land bridge. I would definitely recommend planning to stop and see the land bridge. It is a little difficult to get from the river to the trail, but once on the trail it is not too far.... More

Stayed in a cabin here because the rates were low and now I can see why. The mini golf and go-carts were very outdated and so was the "80's arcade". It basically consisted of an old air hockey table and maybe two other "80's games" which really just tried to cover up the fact that they were so old. Nothing... More

Did the torchlight trip tonight with our kids and I would not recommend this trip for families or this company due to some serious organizational issues. 1. The bus driven to the drop off site by Lou was stuck in the mud and his poor driving I thought for sure was going to roll the buss full of passengers. This... More
