Walking along the river in Huron is always a treat. The boats, birds, and vistas are always lovely. There are many who only stroll the pier in the pleasant weather, but I feel the best experiences are when the lake is raging and the air is raw. At this point, you feel the true power of our great lake!

Nice Ramps, lots of parking very clean restrooms. Being right in town is a big plus as it's very easy to find. A short run to the lake.

We walked out after lunch I fives. It was not crowded or busy on Tuesday afternoon. Amazing amount of wildlife to be seen, and it seems that the wind is always blowing. I stopped at the viewing platform while my family continued to the lighthouse. It was a great place for a long walk after lunch! No shade - put... More

We explored around for a few hours. Grabbed a couple geocaches and headed to the lighthouse. It was a nice evening for being near the lake. We got to the lighthouse area and noticed it is very hard to get over to it. The large rocks are pointy and wet. It ended up the cache was missing and the waves... More

Great place for an evening stroll or just to relax. Walleye fishing is good in late fall and perch and steelhead are also possibilities. Great free public place to make memories!

Beautiful place to visit.I was visiting a friend that lived in Bellevue which is about 20 minutes from Huron. It has a very nice picnic area right on the Lake. The view is breath taking. Plenty of parking and places to picnic. About 25 to 30 minutes from Sandusky,Ohio Beautiful pier.Would visit again.

Scenic and not crowded. Able to walk out toward lighthouse, but would be difficult to walk all the way because of the rocks.
