The brochures exagerate the numbers of wildlife on display. The safari drive around is underwhelming as there is little to see .Dubbo Open Zoo is much better.

Enjoyed the close view of all the animals, especially Giraff n Zebras I have never been soo close! Well managed and organized place to be. Driver/tour guide was very interesting to speak with, shared a lot of information while taking us around. Tip- If you are someone crazy of taking lots of pictures Pay a little extra and take the... While we thought this place was beautiful & fun we left with the opinion that it's more suited for older children. We look forward to returning when our boys are older, perhaps even for an overnight safari :)

Whilst the park is fairly small and wouldn't keep you busy for more than a couple of hours if you live or are visiting in the nearby area, it would be a shame not to drop in. I would recommend that you get there early for the safari bus trip, as very quickly it gets busy especially with school trips.... More

We arrived just in time to catch a bus tour of the plains animals. It is very well done, with the commentary from the bus driver being very humorous and informative. We didn't stay and sample any of the food but did take a good look through the gift shop. A great day out and if you enjoy this kind... More

Nice place to see. The tour is worth the price as the rhinos and giraffes come quite close. There were a lot of school groups visiting and the kids were very loud overall, but once they left, there was a definite sense of peace and quiet about the place. The other nice thing is that it is not-for-profit and are... More

Lots of space, places for picnics. Great places for the kids to play, on slides etc or dressing up and a place to dance to some African music for kids. Some good walks around. Cafe is good, though abit pricey. Fun safari bus which is free.

I recently attended the Werribee Zoo as part of a school excursion. I was pleasantly surprised to find some new attractions since I had visited last. The safari bus area has been refurbished, and the indoor café was clean with plenty of places to sit down and watch the meerkats. We first went for a walk which showed the original... More
