I wish more tourists attractions were like this. My Partner and I spent quite a while choosing how we would spend our last few hours on Phillip Island. What better way than a trout farm!. My partner was a little skeptical, however I think she enjoyed catching the fish more that I did. This is not your normal trout farm.... More

We were quite excited at the prospect of catching our lunch, albeit, without hesitation as we are a family of very little fishing experience. As we walked through the doors, we were greeted with a friendly smile. The young lady who attended to us quickly and thoroughly explained the mechanics of what was involved - she handed us our rods,... More

It's a great activity for families. Kids love the experience of catching a fish and then eating it. I highly recommend it. Lots of staff to help and direct you through the park. Thumbs up!!! More

I live on Phillip Island - and I really enjoy having visitors, so it's great to see which of the attractions work best. The Rhyll Trout Farm serves glorious food in its restaurant, provides marinated trout for you to take home (I've done that too - minus the head!) and has just today provided a wonderful 'last day on the... A great place for a family outing. Allow a few hours so you can go fishing in the outside and inside pools then have your fish cooked- beautiful fish and chips! The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time. More

Fantastic family experience! This family-owned trout farm is a hidden treasure, well not for long! Our family has visited this trout farm every time that we've visited Phillip Island, for the last 2 years. Young or old, you'll have a memorable experience! More

All adults and children have to pay for admission to the park (even if the adults only want to watch the children fish) and then have to pay for rod hire. The park consists of an outdoor trout lake and indoor pools. There was only one staff member on duty at the lake the day we were there and, although... More

Don't forget admission into the farm gives you access to all areas, including the Bush Tucker Trail for those not interested in fishing. We appreciate our customers' patience during the busy holiday periods and do our best to look after everybody. We always try to avoid children seeing the fish being put to sleep, but this can be difficult when... More

I went here today spur of the moment after a weekend in Phillip Island with my kids. We have never fished before and had no idea what we were doing. None of that mattered though because there was always someone to help us out. The food was brilliant and the team were happy to stop and have a chat. The... More
