This is the one stop shop for tours and advice. Centrally located in Strahan on the wharf it was where I went to confirm my tour bookings. It was modern and efficient with pleasant staff.

Staff were more than helpful in presenting local knowledge regarding tours, sights and eating venues around the town, and booking accommodation.

We only had limited time in Strahan unfortunately, so the staff were good at pointing out the essential things to do around town. They tried to book the river cruises for us, but unfortunately the cruise company office had already closed for the day.

We booked our tour through the visitor centre. The staff were excellent and even gave me a courtesy call to inform us of the time of departure. We went on a Gordon River cruise (please, don't miss this event, memories linger). Take in the play at 5.30pm after the cruise (not to be missed).

The centre has plenty of free parking and is located a short walk away from booking offices for various cruises and tours.

We did the Gordon River Cruise. Not to be missed if you are in Strahn. So much history to see and hear about. The commentary was really interesting and well put together. The Salmon farms, the Roaring 40's, The beautiful Sara Island with its history and the Forest walk were all amazing. Thankyou Anne and Ken.

The lady manning this visitor centre looked annoyed when we walked in - and we were the only ones there. She was so unhelpful and bothered (I detected a heavy sigh) with my questions about guidance re. finding a nice hotel with a view. We cut it short and left and went on our own discovery of what was around... More

Very informative. Plenty of info on the town and surrounds. Also plenty of info on the mining towns of Zeehan and Rosebury.
