For instance, she said that she had no maps of the next segment of our driving trip because "other Visitor Information Centers don't give out their information... More

After going on a river cruise & spending time on Sarah Island, seeing the play 'The Ship that Never Was!' was an absolute must see! It was so funny, informative & entertaining about the history of Sarah Island! We laughed 'til we cried!

The staff at the Strahan Visitor Cente were very helpful, answered our questions & gave us extra information which proved very useful. There were lots of maps & brochures available, mostly freebies. They have an excellent knowedge of the area - highly recommended.

They seem to take bookings for most things, excellent selection of brochures, not only for Strahan area but all over Tasmania including accommodation bookings.
