After going on a river cruise & spending time on Sarah Island, seeing the play 'The Ship that Never Was!' was an absolute must see! It was so funny, informative & entertaining about the history of Sarah Island! We laughed 'til we cried!

The staff at the Strahan Visitor Cente were very helpful, answered our questions & gave us extra information which proved very useful. There were lots of maps & brochures available, mostly freebies. They have an excellent knowedge of the area - highly recommended.

They seem to take bookings for most things, excellent selection of brochures, not only for Strahan area but all over Tasmania including accommodation bookings.

If you're in the area it's worth it to visit the information centre. It's kind of cosy and they have all the information you need for this area.

They booked us in for the Heritage cruise over the phone. When we arrived in Strahan we discovered that there was almost no accommodation left. The delightful Julie went out of her way to find us somewhere and came up trumps. She wasn't going to give up until she found us somewhere. I would advise visitors to book in a... More
