Although it's located outdoors, you feel as though you're indoors because of the canvas covering and blankets they provided. This play was much better than we anticipated providing some history and comedy as well as utilizing the audience. Would recommend attending. We had no problem purchasing our tickets the day of the performance. The cast also works at Sarah Island... More

We were a little concerned because it was a cold, rainy evening and the show is basically outdoors. They handed out blankets to everyone and it was actually quite comfortable. You buy the tickets ahead of time at the Visitor Center or at the door. There was lots of audience participation and lots of laughter. The show is based on... More

what a wonderful way to spend an evening in a tiny town in western Tasmania!! An unexpected delight! This show was so funny, so entertaining and really interesting too. The two actors were fantastic and got the whole audience involved. Great atmosphere! So glad i went, definitely recommend going if you are in the area (but be prepared to join... More

This amazing play is most definitely a must see for anyone visiting Strahan. It is a great story that is very well told in a most entertaining way, making skilful use of humour, props and audience participation and the players really do a tremendous job. My wife and I have seen this play twice now and we enjoyed immensely both... More

I didn't have very high expectations of this show but I was pleasantly surprised. Very entertaining especially as it involves audience participation - of all ages. Both actors were fabulous.

We saw this show after having done the tour of Sarah Island - that's really the best way to appreciate the story of the sailors who sailed a ship from Macquarie Harbour to Chile. It was just hilarious fun, with heaps of audience participation and belly laughs out loud. The small cast called out members of the audience to play... More

This is a wonderful, entertaining and educational treat! Lots of audience participation, plenty of jokes and laughter! Well worth the money, a must see! Our teenager and 10 year old were laughing and engaged the whole show. It was a packed show, so get there early for good seats (wooden bleachers with cushions), lap blankets were handed out as the... Tremendous fun. Laugh out loud stuff. They've combined history+silly and made it work. I've been to some poor, touristy shows in my time. For everything they did badly, these guys did doubly well. Somehow it appeals to adults, teens and kids: don't know how, but years of practice and repetition must have helped. I should point out that these folks... More

For something a little different to tours and site-seeing, this is a must do for an evening. Without giving too much away, the show involves 10 convict escapees, only 3 of whom are played by resident actors - the rest & some support roles, are selected at random from the audience. I'm sure everyone who attended had a memorable &... More
