Attached to the Woolmer Estate, the Rose Garden has an amazing collection of roses in a well-laid out garden with walkways and seating to allow a pause to admire the view. Only criticism was a lack of upkeep when we were there in mid-summer; most of the bushes were in need of a dead-heading, but it's such a big job... More

This is a large rose garden with many different species of roses all around. Spectacular and colourful view... red, pink, white, yellow, orange roses... The smell of the flowers was wonderful as well. Worth a visit. More

November 2009 was second visit to the National Rose Garden at Longford, first in 2002 when it was in its infancy.
