As I'm pretty unfit, I found the hike to the top of the Wineglass Bay Lookout quite a workout. However, it was absolutely worth it as the views along the walk and at the top are breathtaking! A must do whilst in Tassie.

Very well set up for all ages and yes it is a very nice view but perhaps not as speccy as say Adventure Bay cliffs on Bruny Island. The descent to WGB beach was steep and the white sand was lovely. Chose the Hazard Beach walk which was quite an easy walk and very pretty along the coast back to... More

Great hike!! I would definitely walk down to Wineglass Bay Beach if you can!! It is simply breathtaking!! The walk down to the beach is not suited for the elderly as many steps. But if you can and are able definitely give it a go!!

loved the views - steep ascent. 20 mins up, about 10 mins down. can easily fit in a trip down to the beach and back in 2 hours if you're fit and not dawdling

East access to picturesque views. Many are in close proximity to each other. Many short walks to enjoy.

We took the walk up to the lookout from the car park. It's a nice walk and a good view when you get there. My only regret is not having enough time to walk down to Wineglass Bay itself.

This is a must if you arte in the area. Best is to complete the walk all the way to the beach, other wise you just missing out, it is not too hard and although there are some steep steps here and there it is very doable. The beach was amazingly beautiful and we walked all the way to the... More

My husband and I shared carrying our 2 year old to the top while the 9 & 10 year olds walked comfortably. Took the pram on the flat path about 1/3 of the way then left it under a tree and walked the rest. View is incredible. Round trip for us with 75 mins with a stop at the top.

Easy walk to Lookout for a great view. Beach bit more strenuous but worth the effort. Just wish we had been more prepared (water and food) and would have done the Hazards Beach Loop (app 5 hrs).

If you are visiting Freycinet NP, chances are you have come to see Wineglass Bay. It is absolutely magical. If we had more time we would've loved to have climbed Mt Amos, and walked down to the beach itself.
