Even though we were here during bad weather it was still a great sight to see! We would have loved to do the other hikes in the park but the clouds covered most mountain tops and would have blocked the views. I would suggest doing the mountain to the left of the lookout track on a clear day for a... More

Yes it is a it of a walk but anyone with reasonable fitness will have no trouble. The view from the lookout is over Wineglass Bay and on a clear day it is spectacular. You can also take the walk down to the actual Bay but this is a little more difficult especially coming back up the hill.

The view from the Wineglass Bay lookout is absolutely spectacular. The walk track is well maintained with some steep parts constructed of some gravel areas and some stone steps

This is an amazing place, best to stay over night to get the best of your visit. It's quite a steep climb to the look out but well worth it. If you have the time and energy walk down to Wine glass bay, take a picnic well worth it. Toilets are few and far between go at the base of... More

Do this as an over night trip if you have the time. We did this as a day trip (drove from Hobart and back in one day) and were exhausted at the end of it. The walk is amazing, it is only 40 minutes but plenty of steps and all up hill. The view at the top, and in fact... More

I do this walk at least 3 times a year, and I never tire from it. Continue to Hazards beach for an even better walk

Very scenic, a lovely walk up Mt. Amos to a lookout overlooking the bay, then a 40-ish minute walk down to the beach, which looks great when the sun is out.

Make sure you continue down the other side of the Lookout to the Bay. This excursion is worth the climb, both to and from the Bay, even if we had to stop a couple of times to catch our breath!

Once you are on top of Mount Amos and once you have combed down to the beach of the Wineglass bay, you can enjoy a beautiful view and a wonderful environment in this beach only reachable by foot. It takes about 30-45 minutes to go up if you are in shape and maybe 15 minutes to go down to the... More

What a great view from this lookout. Not a hard climb but for those less fit will take as long as the walk suggests.
