A tougher hike than expected but the view was worth it! Definitely make the trek to wineglass bay proper.

If you are moderately fit, this hike to the lookout and down to the beach will take less than an hour. We were just thrilled with the pristine beach and the stunning views the lookout provided. A must do if visiting Tasmania and you like the outdoors.

This walk is a bit steep and will take your breath at some parts but certainly not as much as the view from the top. A must do in my opinion!

It is a short easy 1.5 kilometer hike to the lookout and you are rewarded by one of earth's most perfectly shaped beach coastlines. Time permitting, I highly recommend continuing down to the beach as one can get there and back in 2-1/2 hours if you are in reasonable shape. This will allow more time to enjoy the view as... More

We were very lucky to have hiked up to the Wineglass Bay Lookout on a sunny day. The night before was rainy, so we were very glad things cleared up overnight! There are a few trails to choose from, of varying difficulties and distance, that all begin at the Wineglass Bay parking lot. We didn't have enough time to go... More

Allow extra time to walk right over the lookout to the beach and have a swim - good walk and not that hard

The lookout itself is very nice and will reward you with a great view over the bay in exchange for a pretty easy hike of about 30 minutes. Keep going though and do the circuit to the beach and past Hazards Beach. It will take you 5 hours or so, but is so worth it and a great day hike!!

The track is well formed with plenty of seats to stop and catch your breath. The views were amazing. If you can, continue on the track to the beach. It was pristine and beautiful.
