We went in the wet/windy/wild November, so our trip wasn't as nice as imagined. But nobody can change the weather and, sun permitted, it could look beautiful. In ways we are glad it rained because the walk wasn't the easiest and in the sun would've been painful.

We did the wineglass bay lookout walk which said it would take 1.5 hours. My mum, partner and I did it comfortably in an hour. It was a nice walk which was fairly easy to do with clearly marked paths and steps. Beautiful view at the top and a quick walk down!

I regret not walking down to the beach, but the lookout was definitely worth the visit anyway. We had a little picnic up there which was nice. The weather wasn't amazing but Wineglass Bay was still a really lovely sight.

Everybody can do this walk.. and I was pleasantly surprised there is a different pathway back down the hill.. which was fantastic. The vegetation is beautiful on the way up. It can also be attempted at night supposedly. There is a book to sign your name in once you go on the walk and return. It's for your safety, to... More

This was an excellent experience. May I suggest (if you are fit enough) walk down to the beach also. The signs may put you off a bit - steep, slippery etc, but if you take it slowly it is a great walk. The beach is beautiful.

the walk is on good paths and maybe not to be attempted by really unfit people. the place at the top is narrow and most of the time crowded. Nice view though. If you feel courageous go for the bird's view on top of Mount Amos, much better and you will be alone with the eagles..........

The view wasn't as special as I predicted due to a very grey overcast day. On the flip side, it was cool and perfect for a good speedy climb. Much quicker than the suggested 1.5 hours return. I was 30 minutes total.

This is a beautiful lookout you should not miss out. We really enjoyed the hike for about 45 minutes. The shape of the bay indeed looks like a wineglass. However it is better to go there in a sunny day, it was a pity the weather was cloudy by the time we got there. Otherwise, the view could be much... More

We decided to do the 11km loop via Hazard Beach and since we had a dry day and it was my mother 72 years old birthday, she decided to make it one she won't forget... We at the bottom of the hill, closer to the parking lot. We had a few up and down hills with moderate difficulty until we... More

No trip to Freycinet is complete without doing this walk. Our 8 and 3 year olds did it with ease. About 90 minutes round trip including breaks and taking in the view at the top. We also met a friendly Kangaroo one the way...
