This cruise is excellent...it's the full package...stunning views, informative commentary, yummy ploughman's lunch and for those who like a drink, there is a bar. Couldn't get over the stunning scenery...soaring cliffs, craggy mountains, islands, lichen covered rocks, and beautiful white beaches. In regards to the wildlife we got to experience penguins, seals, ganets and a shy albatross. The atmosphere on... More

The boat was a large catamaran which traveled outside sheltered waters into the Southern Ocean to view Wineglass Bay - a four hour lunch cruise. The weather came in after lunch and the boat experienced a lot of wild seas. I loved it but not for the sea sick prone! Lunch was good - a selection of Tasmanian delicacies, cold,... More

Highly recommend the Wineglass Bay Cruise, staff were excellent, cruise was professional & commentary was informative. The vessel is modern with great visibility. Lunch was good and no problem catering for special meals.

Wineglass bay cruises have a huge new boat. I did this trip 3 years ago and it was fantastic. Came back yesterday and had the most amazing day out. The new boat is huge. Duncan is such a wealth of knowledge and has such passion for what he does. He took us around the cliffs and showed us a lot... More

Very nice cruise. New boat has plenty of room. It was only at about 20% capacity the day we went so I can't say what it is like when all the seats are taken. The lunch was a bit so so, but we were there for the sights anyway. The staff and crew were fantastic and the skipper took the... More

Please don't get me wrong! The boat was modern, spacious, very comfortable, expansive window views, friendly and informative crew, and an easy check-in, with spacious parking less than 10 metres away. But we'd made the (for us in our early 70s) arduous trek to the Wineglass Bay Lookout the very day before and wanted to see the Bay from the... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I skippered the vessel that day and unfortunately the weather plays a part in our operation and there are days when getting up close to view sea caves, water falls and granite sea cliffs are not possible due to obvious safety concerns. When weather conditions are increasing Wineglass Bay Cruises... More

This is a must do when visiting the area, it gives you such an appreciation of the size of the Freycinet NP. I had read a review on here about checking the forecast including sea conditions and I thought we were set for a lovely day as it was nice and sunny and not too windy. Make sure to take... More

Had planned to walk to Wineglass Bay, but noticed the cruise option. What an excellent day. The crew on board were friendly, supportive and went out of their way to ensure everyone gained maximum benefit from the cruise. The venture out into the Southern Ocean was quite choppy but the boat handles it well. It was great to get up... More

The entire crew were fabulous and were very informative. The boat trip pleasant but can get a bit swell like when in the open waters. Wineglass Bay was a lovely little spot and very picturesque. My only advice would be to take some ginger tablets prior to the trip or perhaps the cruise operators can include offering them within the... More
