We were 2 guys and 1 girl of 23 years old. We had lots of fun during the canyoning. The weather wasn't the best but it didn't matter. However it was expensive 190 dollars for concession price. If you have the money you will have a great day, we laugh a lot and the team was really nice. We don't... More

Thanks Arnaud G for the review. Glad to hear you had fun. I'll take that feedback about the price on board, but we think it is great value and most of our customers agree. We have a maximum group size of 12 and two guides accompany every trip. The amount we charge is the minimum we can get away with... More

What a phenomenal natural playground us Tasmanian's have access to, in our very own backyard. The operations of the Dove canyon tour ran so smoothly from start to finish. The tour guides are complete professionals; every word ensured trust and safety. However; they are the most laid back professionals I've had the pleasure of meeting. Canyoning needs to be experienced... More

We were there about a week ago, the weather was bad and unfortunately our tour changed to Machinery Creek which was still a wonderful experience. The Machinery Creek involves 6 abseiling, about 2 jumps and 1 small sliding. My friend and I had great fun although I almost dropped dead at the end of the tour. My friend said she... More

Such a great experience! We did the lost world tour which only took 2-3 hr. Perfect opportunity to be amongst the nature and pristine heritage surroundings ( yes heritage listed therefore nothing could be spoilt or taken away from the Canyon, I love that about Tassy and the respect to our landmarks and untouched nature) . Leon and Al were... More

Hi A_and_M_Jordan Thanks for your great review. Yes, the Lost World is a gem of a trip. With no signs of civilisation in there its hard to believe that you're only 50 metres or so away from a designated track. All the best for your onward journey and I hope you can join us on another trip in the future.... More

We had a great day on the Dove Canyon recently with guides Ryan and Al. Our full group of 12 people were from all over the world. We were fortunate to have a beautiful day, warm weather and clear blue skies. Regardless, I doubt we would have felt the cool water with such great gear provided. We noticed an earlier... More

The canyoning experience we had was overall great and we loved it..I was just thinking why am I not rating it as a 5 star...well I guess it was the fact that we didnt get the tour we originally wanted and then when you do already 2 hours driving you are kind of feeling idiotic if you dont accept the... I'm 47 and our son is 11, both of us had never done canyoning before. It was lots of fun, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy or in a rush. You're looked after from start to finish. I didn't even feel the cold with all the wetsuits on, and Cradle Mountain put on a great day for us.... More

Had to go canyoning while in Cradle mountain, so my GF and I signed up for the Dove canyon. I have some experience in canyoning since before, but not my GF. But on the day it was raining so we had to do the Machinery Creek instead. Had a great trip. Rained more or less the whole time, but you... More

These pages are full of rave reviews and they are all true to our experience but what impressed me the most is the honesty, generosity and ethical behaviour of Cradle Mountain Canyons in my dealings with them. Our guides, Ryan and Leon were engaging, intelligent, sensitive and good fun. Bravo Tim.
