We were a group of 5 who went on the dove canyon tour with 2 other people. It was our first time canyoning. Just trekking to and from the canyon probably requires significant fitness - 45 minutes each way and involves fairly steep and rocky climbs especially on the way back. The canyoning itself didn't require too much physical stamina... More

It was our first canyoning trip with this company but our second in total so we had something we could compare this trip to. For starters, the trip is described as taking about 6-8 hours but in fact we didn’t spend much longer than 1.5h in the canyon. The other 4.5h of our trip we used for collecting the gear,... More

Me and my partner Chris did the Dove Canyon tour on Saturday as an adventure to celebrate my 27th birthday. It was an awesome experience, something I thought I would never do. Nick and Anthony were excellent and very encouraging towards everybody in the group. The water of course is cold but the gear provided is of excellent quality and... More

The water in the canyon was too high and was rescheduled for the afternoon the following day. Tim went out of his way to organize a tour just for us as we couldn't make the rescheduled tour. After a brief 20 minute walk on a boardwalk we changed into the many layers of wetsuits and gear. We then made our... More

Awesome trek. They are many treks you can do. We choose do the 3-4 hour round trip and trekked to the summit which is really popular. It was so worth it! Gorgeous view from the top.

As we arrived to the Cradle Mountain area, it has started to snow. The views were amazing. White roads and trees, small wallabies and kangaroos welcomed us to the one of the most beautiful place in Tasmania. We stayed overnight in the Cradle Mountain Highlanders in a 2 bedroom flat with fireplace inside, but the kids went out to feed... More

I did this with my partner because he wanted to. But it was really a lot of fun, at the time your questioning "why am I jumping off this waterfall into the cold below" but afterwards you walk away full of adrenaline and just amazed you did it (that's if you can make it back up the hill, not joking,... Thanks Kitty. Yep the walk up the hill at the end is a bit of a slog. Well worth it though we like to think. Please do come back again. Remember to tell us you're a returning customer to get a discount. More

We had a ball donning our gear and abseiling into the canyon for several hours of canyoning, waterfall jumping and sliding down rock chutes and logs. The water is cold but you are provided with all the wetsuits etc needed, however hands and feet still got quite chilly at times. You do need a level of fitness, more for the... More

Thanks very much for the review. Yep, the water is getting a bit chilli this time of year. We like to think the higher water levels are a more that adequate compensation for that though - makes for extra excitement. Thanks again and hope to see you for another tour in the future. More

Just did the Dove River Gorge canyoning on Wednesday. There was heaps of water so it was very loud in the canyon and and very exciting. This was a huge adventure. Abseiling, jumping off high places into surging waters, being plunged at speed under the water after being shot through a narrow rock crevice and it was all amazing. I've... More
