We have seen these very rare animals on t.v. photos etc but to see them up close and learn about their habitat, feeding and again see how well they are cared for by the carers was just great. I thought it wasn't real until I came here. It's all real! The tour was great with really good information about these creatures. The Platypus house not only had platypuses but also Echidna's( a native animal of Australia that also looks like a porcupine). Highly recommended for native animal lovers More

Guided tours are the only option and I usually hate them (maybe I got lucky?). Small groups starting with very good cinema presentation and then a walk through of tanks etc with excellent and informed commentary. Lots of photo ops and the Echidna exhibit is also included.
