Dhamma Bhumi has got to be the most serene, tranquil place on Earth. I have been going to this Vipassana Meditation Centre for the past 18 years now. I went there for the 10 day retreat just expecting to learn meditation but instead came away with a life changing experience..It wasn't easy but very worthwhile with excellent basic accomadation, amazing vegetarian food ( fruit and tea for dinner) and the staff who all volunteer are great people, if you commit to the long days of meditation you will... This is definitly not an attraction but a place for those wishing to explore serious meditation. It is a real commitment.
