Went here today with partner and mother in law. We started at the restaurant for some lunch. After meandering through the crowds to find a table out order was taken promptly. Our drinks arrived soon after but we then waited a long time for food. We'd long finished our drinks and were becoming irritable. That we're no longer THAT busy... More

We have visited here a few times as it's a quaint little place surrounded by lovely countryside. We have a 3 & a 4 year old so we visited the children's farm today. I thought it was great value for money, only £12 for the 4 of us to get in (Inc animal feed). It is not a huge farm... More

Nice place to visit. Good for 1-2 hours, including playing on the play park. Not too much to do there, but good for the low price. The only thing that put me off was the masses of bikers there, which you had to walk past to get to the entrance. Was quite noisy with their engines, and was abit of... More

Went here for the afternoon, walked round the farm shop, craft fair and the other little shops, had a stick of highland toffee from the sweetshop then walked round the little enclosure where the animals were (a few baby animals in the pens that you could stroke, a 3 legged deer and lots of chickens and ducks with some horses... We took our Grandson ( age 3) to the children's farm for what we thought was a day out but ended up staying less than 2 hours. The farm had lots of different breeds of ducks, chickens a few turkeys and a couple of peacocks, there is no information telling you what the different breeds are. There are also pigs,... More

We took our two children to Hoar Park today and had a lovely time. The farm was wonderful. Exceptionally clean, and all of the animals are clearly well looked after. You can also see all of the areas where animal food is kept which is organised and spotless. I bought 2 runner ducks and the young lady who sold them... More

this is the third time i have attempted to eat here, the first 2 being either closed or made to feel unwelcome eating a cream tea. we turned up on the motorbike in our gear and not one of the staff even looked at us let alone say hello. We walked through the resteraunt, chose a seat and read the... More

Visited this farm with a group of friends and their children for the first time today. The children's ages were 7 months up to 2.5 years and they all had a great time. The price to get in the farm was really reasonable, I think it was £3.50 for adults, £2 for children and free for under 2s. You could... More

Nice little craft shops. Coffee shop and antiques. Animal area £3 each to go walk around. We didn't but would be great for small children.
