It's a fun day out for the kids. Not all rides are that much fun, too many of the car type things for toddlers that just around in circles. Very little change in rides between the years. Could do with investment and it would draw the people to South Shields

I love taking my grandchildren here but like most places nowadays it is not a cheap day out. Young need to purchase vouchers for the many rides and can buy these on line at a discount before you visit. You can also pay for a wristband which saves you money. One problem with the vouchers is that you think you... More

My wife and I decided to take our two young nieces along for the day at the park. Surprise to say we were most certainly not satisfied with all the rides at the pleasure park. The advantages are there's different rides for teens and beyond but the disadvantages of only a few rides for the younger kids is diss appointing... More

My eldest grandson, who's now 11, used to love going here and always got good value by using a wristband, but now he is older, some of the rides he likes do not participate in the wristband scheme, making it much more expensive. A lot of the staff are quite miserable, as well. There is a reasonable choice of rides,... More

The place is in need of a good overhaul and some of the rides need to be replaced, however this was a great day out for the kids. If you buy the wristbands on the Internet you get really good value for your money. My kids stayed all days 11am to 5pm and when you counted up the amount of... More

Dirty, overpriced, unprofessional miserable staff and in need of a good clean and lick of paint to boot. If you like reasonable or even a small degree of quality avoid this place. I'm just glad I used Tesco vouchers but only cashed in £20 worth to assess what the place was like. I should have used them somewhere else.

As part of a great day on the beach we topped it off with a trip to the fun fair. It was really quiet but the staff made the effort and my daughter was able to go on every ride she wanted Not cheap but have paid more elsewhere. We had a great time.

Visited the fairground and the slot machines in the arcade. Some of the fairground rides (which operates a pre purchase token system) can be quite expensive. However, if you purchase in advance of your visit there are some worthwhile savings to be had, and can reduce your cash outlay. A pretty good fairground especially for kids.

ok for a stop gap, but not very much to amuse adults but kids are well catered for with the fairground. need to check when its open though.
