Have used these parks for a long time in all weathers. They have something to offer for all seasons and are one of the reasons I am proud of being a Sanddancer.

this is a nice and peaceful place to go, the atmosphere was great and you can even feed ducks and go on a ride along the lake on peddle boats, toilets are close as well with a cafe.

Free park, free childs playground, great surroundings, fun fair across the road and beach. Café and public toilets in here and can always hire a boat to go round the pond. wildlife on the small island or pay for a steam train (kiddies ride) around the park. Great place for a picnic with the family

Two gorgeous parks, beautifully maintained and rich in the heritage of John Reid who was behind so many of the beautiful parks, central reservations in the town. Not for nothing he was known as Road Island Reid......

Kids love the train, parks and feeding the swans. Simple, cheap and effective at entertaining the little ones

Lovely day accidentally filled by discovering this park. Great play areas and kids loved the little train and feeding the birds.

Be prepared to see unemptied bins all over the place on busy days. The park is popular, but council cuts means no operatives are available to empty the bins. Disgraceful.

The parks are clean and well looked after. There are a number of memorial benches and I am glad to say they are well maintained and free from graffiti and damage, which is so often the case in other parks. South Marine park is charming, and good for a short run, with only 1 steep hill. Also a great place... More

the new promenade along Littlehaven beach gives good views of the entrance to Tyne and the town of Tynemouth across the river. from the highest part of North marine park the habour arms and Littlehaven beach are laid out before you. Walked to south park for lunch at attractive cafe near lake. bowl of water available for my dog.
