The Rose has some very good performances .....and some not so good but as it is a modern theatre the seating is comfortable and views are all mostly excellent. The bar/cafe is also good but getting anything in the interval is pretty difficult ......stick to ice cream!

This theatre is located next to the Thames river and close to main car parks in Kingston. The seating are fantastic with a good view of the stage from all around. There is a little café with drinks and cakes.

We always enjoy our trips to the Rose - the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed, the productions good and although the bench seats are unusual actually find them more comfortable than many seats in both local and West End theatres - there is also plenty of leg room.

Went to see Romeo & Juliet on Saturday, and both my daughter and I loved it. Fantastic production with great music. It was great to be so close to the stage and not having to pay the earth to be their. Comfy seats and just a really nice atmosphere in the theatre. Will definitely visit again.

We made our first visit for a performance of Romeo and Juiliet. It was amazing! All the professionalism of the west end, but without the crowds and expense. A great cafe, with plenty of capacity in the interval. Lots of really good restaurants near the theatre. Will be planning visit very soon!

Came to see Room on the Broom with my daughter and this theatre is a great intimate venue. Hard to distinguish the simply wonderful and charming production with a review solely of the theatre but the seats seemed to provide good views without exception, I particularly liked the fact that they were paired independently (ie my daughter could bounce around... I treated a friend to see sign of the times for the Saturday matinee. It was only my 2nd visit to the theatre. I booked us the cheapest seats pit cushions not realising it is exactly what it says cushions sitting on the floor. We thought we would try it out and see. Would certainly not recommend those seats and... More

I have just come in from the first night of the Christmas Speial, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It is great this is a musty see for everyone, with or without children. I am a 68 year old big kid. The production is brilliant and I loved very moment of it.
