We went to Alice Holt on Monday afternoon with our just over two year old grandson. We met his aunt and two cousins there and had a superb time. Although busy there was always something for him to climb on, crawl through or just watch others doing the same. So many little open places we came across with more activities... More

Used to love this place but during school holidays it's too busy and spoilt. Nice walks and cycling but go early or during term time. Similar woodlands over the road are free parking and virtually empty with none of the organised fun of Alice Holt.

Miles of cycle trails and a wide variety of play areas and obstacles ensure an exciting trip for all ages. The on site cafe and go ape facility are both worth a visit and car parking is a doddle thanks to the expansive car park. The orienteering trail is worth a go if you are with a big group.

This is an amazing place, lots to do for everybody. The trails have been well thought out ranging from a trail for children to one for mountain bikers. Easy access for everyone

Brilliant for families, take a picnic or hire a barbeque. Cafeteria for mum & Dad to have coffee or the children to have ices. Plenty of adventure equipment for children of all ages, as well as trails to follow through the forest. Possible to hire bikes (or take your own). Try go ape, additional charge, or just have fun watching.

We used to go to a similar place in Devon though it wasn't as busy and there's so much to do. It was the weekend when we visited and it was really busy. Though you can get away from people if you walk along the less popular trails. We took our dog and three year old and we had a... More

Didn't go for pleasure - went for filming! Me and my colleagues created a short documentary about Go Ape at Alice Holt forest. It was a rainy day, but it was totally enjoyable. Green, clean and fresh is all you need to relax. Even though we went to film, we managed to realize how well maintained the forest is. Pathways,... More

I am so mad with myself as we have lived in Farnham for 11 years and have only just visited Alice Holt Forest. We had family visit , sister, brother in law and 3 nephews, and wanted somewhere for them to run about and for us to take advantage of the lovely weather and have a picnic. There are ample... More

This is a lovely place to meet up with friends and walk the dog (and the children!). They had a Gruffalo trail for the children and our toddler really enjoyed finding all the creatures set out in the forest while the dogs ran around sniffing out the real creatures! There is good car parking (you have to pay to park... More
