This is a lovely place to simply walk or walk a dog if it is a beautiful forest you are after. If it is more, they offer all kinds of events for families including a great season of outside theatre shows that have been superb. A treasure to enjoy!

Great day out with family and friends. Kids ages 3-12 had a fab time lots to do park, walks, climb, get muddy, get wet in the stream what more could the kids want oh yeah go ape :-D Jr climb £18 for 1 hour and over 6 years can go on their own which was good very safe. And after... More

Really lovely place for a walk. Lots of children but if you choose one of the adult trails you can get away from them! (Can you tell I'm childfree?!) Really nice walk there. Car parking is quite expensive and is pay and display so you've got that awkward 'have I put enough money on the car park' feeling which otherwise... More

Traveled 1.5hrs to get to Alice Holt & not dissapointed ! (We are a fan of FC places as been to Westonbirt & Moors Valley). It is a cheap day out as you only pay car parking- 2hrs £2.50...all day £7. There is so much to do but tbh it was another Gruffalo hunt that enticed our visit (Gruffalo no.3).... More

Took my two toddlers here for the gruffalo hunt. Great day, lots of puddles to jump in!! The trail itself is fairly flat with one small hill towards the end. Lots of things for the kids to climb on etc and keep them entertained. Trail is around 0.75 miles so is perfect distance for little ones. Once back at car... More

We visit frequently and love the woodland walks . Our grandchildren really enjoy the climbing and play facilities. Go Ape is an additional , if pricey, great reason to come. The Forestry Commission are regularly improving the overall facilities. Cafe is basic but quite adequate and a new one is planned. No admission price, but car parking charge. Still very... More

lovely walk around beautiful settings. Great play areas for the kids to run around. Only let down I thought was the price of the car park which seemed a bit steep and was almost a hidden entrance fee (if that makes sense!)

Love the Cafe on on the Green. Great for a sarnie and a cuppa. The woods are lovely. Lot's to see. Look out for the Munt Jack deer. They're friendly little things. They hang out on the east side of the woods near Boundary Road.
