Took my two toddlers here for the gruffalo hunt. Great day, lots of puddles to jump in!! The trail itself is fairly flat with one small hill towards the end. Lots of things for the kids to climb on etc and keep them entertained. Trail is around 0.75 miles so is perfect distance for little ones. Once back at car... More

We visit frequently and love the woodland walks . Our grandchildren really enjoy the climbing and play facilities. Go Ape is an additional , if pricey, great reason to come. The Forestry Commission are regularly improving the overall facilities. Cafe is basic but quite adequate and a new one is planned. No admission price, but car parking charge. Still very... More

lovely walk around beautiful settings. Great play areas for the kids to run around. Only let down I thought was the price of the car park which seemed a bit steep and was almost a hidden entrance fee (if that makes sense!)

Love the Cafe on on the Green. Great for a sarnie and a cuppa. The woods are lovely. Lot's to see. Look out for the Munt Jack deer. They're friendly little things. They hang out on the east side of the woods near Boundary Road.

I gave this a very good because it is rather likeable with all the climbing frames. if you are a child I recommend it if you are a parent only go with your child, and if you are and adult, you might not like it. but don't threat there is more to the forest than climbing frames, you could take... We went on Tuesday 23rd December for the 6pm booking. An elf met the children with parents and led us through a path well lit with Xmas lights and we saw 2 reindeer and santas sleigh at the end of the path. After the children petted the reindeer we were invited into the yurt where there was a short play... More

Just got back from Alice Holt and we all really enjoyed it. Father Christmas was excellent, asking lots of questions and making it magical. A few points they should take on board. With such a huge forest they could make the trail to father Christmas longer which would really add to the adventure. The walk back after seeing father Christmas... More

I booked the experience for my four year old son in November and got an early bird ticket for £19. The website offered a magical winter wonderland experience but I'm afraid in reality it really wasn't. We are greeted by an elf who leads you to two reindeers we are stuck in a pen and there is one walkway lit... More

I took my 4 yr old: the sparkly light woodland walk to the yurts there with the reindeer to see on the way was lovely (3pm slot). The play was fab for my son's age, the crafts were a little snug to make but fun and Santa himself was just magical who gave you plenty of time! Wellies are a... More

We visited on 21 Dec at 5pm slot......I have to say some reviews I had read online really concerned me, and another person I spoke to whilst we were waiting to go into the experience said the same thing. However, if the reviews were accurate, things have been improved since then and we enjoyed our visit. I felt the staff... More
