Great for an afternoon stroll or bike ride, and there are plenty of kids adventure things to do or just to get lost in the woods for an afternoon.

Have been going to Alice Holt Forest for years. Had four boys which needed to run off a bit of energy and now they have grown Husband and I love to walk there. It has changed over the last few years - got more environmentally friendly but is still great. When my sons were younger went on couple of their... More

On my first visit I grumbled about the car park fees. On reflection it is very good value for a day out. There are plenty of routes for walkers and cyclists. I have visited several times with my grandchildren and they all love it. Being able to run through the trees and play is so simple but enjoyed by them... More

Alice Holt Forest has been carefully managed over the l years. It is an environment in which the natural world is allowed to grow and thrive alongside the many visitors that turn up every weekend through out the year. There are trails, walks and bikes, but off the beaten track plants, trees and animals can live and grow relatively undisturbed.... More

We visit Alice Holt on a fairly regular basis and are never disappointed!!! The recent addition of the new toilet block, info centre and schools room makes it even better... as does the additional equipment in the play area. There's lots to do; large play park, cycle trails, pond, habitat trail, walks and orienteering routes, bike hire and GoApe! for... More

..... the car parking is expensive! Lots of outside space for roaming or playing - but it gets very crowded during high days and holidays with both families and dogwalkers. Cyclists can be inconsiderate - but in my experience they usually are wherever they are.

Great for a family walk followed by a coffee, ice cream. Plenty of picnic spaces but be aware extremely popular on a nice day. Go early to avoid parking chaos. Parking is a bit pricey now!

Good place for walks, bike rides, have a go on the go ape. Great for kids of all ages and families, new toilets and a café so you can get refreshments. Always busy lots to do and explore.

Lovely to walk the trails (includes part of the Shipwrights Way) cycle, Go Ape, picnic or relax with friends and family. Recently updated facilities and helpful staff. Good café (some things a bit pricey!) Ideal for children to let off steam exploring. There is so much to do here, that it's worth getting a yearly pass. Wonderful!
