We have been here so many times, the kids love it, and it's a brilliant place for them to burn off excess energy! All year round there is the main play area with wooden play equipment including a pirate ship with plank to walk, houses for "tea parties", a slide, fireman pole, and roundabout. There are several walks around the... More

Lovely forest, like Endor. Go aoe is brilliant, go when it is quiet and you can go ape until you can't ape anymore.

Visiting with 2,4&6 yo, there was plenty to do, two main playgrounds, lots of trails to explore and fun tasks for the kids. The cafe was reasonably priced and offered a good range of sandwiches and hot meals. Recommend bringing bikes, trikes etc for the kids. We visited on an event day, and it didn't feel overcrowded.

Excellent day out. Couple of friends had been here and recommended so we checked it out. Easy to find, easy to park and good facilities, nice sized cafe and clean toilet block. £7 to park for day but that's a cheap day out for a big family. Lots of different trails and the yellow trail had some good climbing/play features... More

We loved the forest so much. The kids did Go Appe and they said it was the best thing they did in their life. We couldn't finish walking every where in one day. We decided to visit again more and more. The play area is very good. Really recommend it.

You could spend all day here, except for the parking which is very expensive. Lots of different length trails with really easy to follow mapsThere's a great play park for older children, but it does get quite boisterous. There are some picnic benches, but not enough so I'd advise taking a blanket.

Took our little ones here today and had a thoroughly enjoyable walk through the wood looking for the characters. There were information points along the way to let little ones know different parts of the forest ecosystem. Of course the star of the show was the big G man himself, the kids loved it and couldn't wait to be next... More

Visited with my children (9 and 7) for the first time. We only stayed three hours as were en route home from a short break, but this is definitely a place where you can easily spend a whole day. We only tried a small part of all that is on offer - I couldn't believe how vast it is and... More

Been here several times with Grandaughter aged 7. Absolutely loves the place . Plenty of free activity as well as more challenging aerial rides through the trees etc which you have to pay for. Beautiful forest to walk through and children can play on several sculptures. Easy to get round the designated gravel paths. Plenty of playgrounds for all ages.... More

Our first time to Alice Holt and we loved it there. We started with the family cycle trail which was about 3 miles through the forest. Our boys (5 & 7) did struggle on some of the steeper parts, but that was probably down to hunger!. Luckily there is a picnic spot half way round so we re-fuelled and off... More
